Bug with random image appearing in uploads when editing a post.

After initially posting the following topic, I clicked to edit the post with some additional information and when I did, a desktop screenshot appeared in the uploads box at the bottom of the edit post box.

 

It isn't my screenshot and I don't know where it came from. Maybe someone uploaded it to an LTT post they were working on and somehow the forum software passed it to mine.

I've been looking into this issue on and off for ages, and have looked into it in depth today, but I'm at a loss as to what could have caused it.

It should be safe for you to delete it from your post, though please let me know when you have done so because I'd like to verify that it worked correctly and didn't break things.

I've deleted the image from my post now.

 

I notice that the thread the picture was originally uploaded to is in the same subforum as my topic. I wonder if that's a factor to the issue.
