Which one is better? I really like both of them but I'm not sure if it is worth spending $20+ more for the HyperX or just saving the extra money and buying the Corsair.

My honest opinion is that the K70 LUX RGB (which I own) is unnecessarily overpriced as is. If you are okay with white backlit keys only, my favorite choice is the Logitech G610. You only lose the 3 functionalities, RGB illumination, wrist wrest, and USB plugin. But if you are sold on those 2 options don't spend more than you have to, go for the K70.

The Corsair K70 LUX RGB (MX Browns) is my personal desktop keyboard and I must tell you... it's the best one I ever owned and my personal favourite, if you don't need/want extra macro keys and wants the old fashion full layout it's hands down the best pick both functionally and aesthetically.

I have had it for over a year already and it's identical to what it was out box... then again I take good care of it.

I've had mine 1yr+ and never had a problem withi. Honestly don't know wear you heard this. I'd definitely recommend the k70 with mx reds.
