IPad mini 2 doesn’t support 60fps in YouTube?

Sorry for being a tech newbie....

I recently bought a iPad mini 2 for studying,then I noticed when I watching YouTube videos

the 60fps option doesn’t appear,I searched through reddit etc everyone was saying it was 

an option,but mine does not... it’s a iOS 12 btw

60Fps works fine on the iPad mini 2 I have on my desk, but it doesn't give the option to switch between the different frame rates. It is deffo 60Fps though.

My YouTube doesn’t have the 60fps options

In this case it would be "Youtube app for Ipad mini 2 doesn't show 60fps option".

Nothing Apple can do about it; It's at Google to update their app.
