I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Perfect build for 1440p 144hz monitor, I'd say you could perfectly run some games at 4K 60fps

For 1440p 144hz I'd go for a RTX2060, GTX1080 and RTX2070

The 2060 is a 1080p card, it will suffer at 1440p with double digit frame rates.  I would grab a used 1080 from a reputable ebay seller for like 400ish dollars.  If you want GDDR6 and new technology then 2070 and 1440p is possible but don't expect 144fps at all times.  This is where freesync or g-sync kick in.  So you can't tell a difference between 144fps and 100fps.  I have no experience with g-sync or freesync monitors just fyi.  My upcoming monitor will have freesync 2 with nvidia supports and what not.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex

The GPU is a gigabyte RTX 2070 OC. I also don’t see the point in 4K at the moment, and i’ve only just purchased a 1440p Asus  ROG monitor @ 144hz. Plus until RTX 2080ti’s drop in price, 4k above 60 fps isn’t really realistic.

Very cool 1440p is the sweet spot man.  Very nice monitor you got my friend.  Definitely grab a 2070 because a 2060 and your 144hz monitor won't play nice with each other.

Go with the R5 2600 depending on the price difference. The 'X' isn't usually worth the extra money.

I would rather have an MSI B450 Tomahawk or B450 Gaming Pro Carbon over that Asus.

No point getting a SSHD when you already have an SSD. Just go with a regular HDD for mass storage.

Do you need W10 Pro ? I would go with the standard version if you are just gaming.

The 2600x was on offer and only cost £12 more, and the SSHD was only £17 more so i thought i might as well and what makes the other motherboards a better choice?

The MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon is probably the best ATX B450 board in terms of VRM quality. The Tomahawk is not that far off, and is a lot cheaper than the Asus. If you don't need wifi I would go with the Tomahawk for £90. The Asus will handle the 2600X though if you prefer the aesthetics of that.
