Safari 12 in iOS keeps logging me out of LTT

As the title explains,

Suddenly sinxe 3 days every time I go onto LTT it wants me to login and I do that via steam. Steam keeps sending me a email with a code to login - so it’s quite a hassle to login via my phone. Before this I was just always logged in, no issues.

I dont have these issues issues on my PC or MacBook or iPad, only on my iPhone.

iphone model: iPhone XR 256GB

ios version: 12.0.1

browser: Safari 12

has anyone else encountered this issue ?

thanks

Are you using private browsing or have you cleared your cookies and cache?

I don't think that is the latest version of iOS. Is there an update available, because that could fix it?

Otherwise, we haven't changed anything on the forum, and don't do anything weird with cookies, so it sounds like it might be a Safari issue. Can you try clearing your cache+cookies, and see if that helps?

if you're using private mode, I'm pretty sure that clears out all of your cookies when safari gets unloaded

I've seen a couple of people use private mode over regular mode for some reason for regular browsing..

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

You have to be sure that you are not in private browsing mode, that you allow websites to remember your credentials.

I personally made my own LTT account, that way if anything gets compromised, just LTT is lost.

If you mean that you sign in using a password rather than steam/google/etc, all we get from those services is a token that lets us look up your name, picture and email, so if we were compromised it wouldn't cause the other site's account to become compromised. There are still good reasons for using a password to sign in rather than a third party service, but risk of the third party service's account being compromised by an LTT breach isn't one.
