Good luck keeping those under decent temps. TDP increased from Pascal, which already required a few revisions to get temps under wraps, couple that with the already furnace-like 8750h and you've got a recipe for fun. :P

Should be fine, MSI designs are rockin' nowadays, but I wouldn't expect super chill machines.

So now you can pay even more money for a product that will still thermal throttle to 1050ti speeds under a real world load? Laptop manufacturers either need to focus on developing new thermal solutions or offer more traditional thick chassis.

Hopefully the new amd processors actually have something to offer this year.

Not if you get it from HIDevolution. I've bought many laptop from them before and they use their own proprietary methods to mitigate any heat issues by applying some of the best thermal paste like Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut along with Fujipoly Extreme Thermal pads on heat sensitive parts.

Take a look at the cooling mod they did on my MSI GT75 Titan 8RG:

These new laptops with the 9th Generation CPUs do overheat so I suggest you get yours from HIDevolution for the cooling mods mentioned above. They stress test the laptop and ensure it's working 100% before shipping it out to you.

If you email donald@hidevolution.com before you order, he can help you with a small discount as well.

Here is their ne RTX GPU Lineup: https://www.hidevolution.com/nvidia-rtx-new-release
