CFG73 Insane ghosting - eye saver mode mostly fixes it

I have a 144hz 1ms (not gtg, mprt) monitor, but am seeing large amounts of ghosting and do not want to return it. Turning on the low blue light mode mostly fixes it. Would something else work too? 

i5-8600k, MSI Z370-A Pro, 2x 8GB DDR4-3k, MSI Gaming X 1060, NZXT S340, 2TB HDD, 750w Corsair PSU, AOC 2775 OC'd to 80Hz and CFG73 at 144hz

Check the overdrive and backlight settings? But I think with VA panels, bright objects moving across dark backgrounds are just inevitably going to ghost. I think the low blue light setting is helping because it's lowering the contrast.

So the ghosting will happen on most panels? Also I don't think I can control those with my monitor

Ghosting is present on ALL LCDs, TN, IPS, and VA. Its just much easier to see on VA since it has the slowest pixel response times.

 

not all VA pnales are created equal though, one may have a 100% resposne time of 10ms (which is fast for a VA), another may be 15ms.

 

BTW, manufactuer resposne times are BS, ignore them. There is no industry wide method for testing so its a meaningless figure.

 

Even fast TN panels are around 2ms 80% , and 4ms 100% transition times when tested by reviewers.
