I was thinking most of the people uses US Layout of Keyboards But is there any difference between US and EU from typing or gaming?

I was thinking of getting the Glorious GMMK White Ice Edition keyboard but I wanted to change some of the keycaps on the board to match my setup theme. I don't know much about keyboards so I don't know what type of accent keys I have to get that will fit on this type of keyboard. Also what are the best coiled keyboard cables?

Hello, I have the B550M TUF, it has: 4x USB 3.x on back panel 2x USB 2.0 on back panel 2x USB 3.0 on front panel I am trying to use a 1 -> 3 port USB 3.0 hub on my front panel headers for my mouse and keyboard (both wireless). The issue is that as soon as I attach a third device (USB stick) into the remaining front panel port, the keyboard will drop out completely or start to work extremely intermittently. If I put the USB stick into the back panel, the issue doesn't happen. In addition, if I put the mouse, keyboard, and USB stick onto the hub and connect to any port on the motherboard, the mouse and keyboard stops working, but the USB stick seems to show up in Windows. What the hell is going on?! Why can't I use a simple USB hub?

I was looking for a 65% mechanical keyboard and think I now found the ( almost ) perfect choice for me: the Keychron k6 with Gateron brown switches and German layout ( thanks @Eschew ) it ticks almost all the boxes: - wireless, compatibility with Windows, Linux, Android, iPad and Mac ( not that I own one but you'll never know ). - price: 90$ -65% layout -aluminium frame the only things that annoy me a bit are: - that the German version doesn't have the option for hot-swap - the delete key is a shortcut and not in the top right corner - and it can't be reprogamed ( which would fix the previous problem ) Are there any alternatives you might suggest? note: it has to be available in German! the alternative doesn't have to be wireless.

Randomly, my keyboard will stop the lighting sequence, ex. Rainbow, type lighting, and will freeze at a certain color. I can fix it by clicking on Corsair's Icue software and it will return to normal. However, in Icue, it says the stored profile does not match the one saved to ICUE and it tells me I need to save the profile. Whenever I do that, it deletes whatever profile I have and I need to remake it.

I'm wanting to build a new keyboard but not sure on what keyboard base and what switches to get, i want the keyboard to be hotswapable, 60%, or 75%, sound good and not look to minimalistic and bland. and i want the switches to be linear. I was thinking of getting the glorious GMMK Pro 75%, and for the switches iw as gonna get banana splits and lube them. so my question is: is the GMMK Pro good to get and if it isn't, what other ones should I get are banana splits good and should i lube them, and if so what lube and any other switches that may be better Thank you

My both keyboard and controller feels like there is a delay after I let go of the key, like when I'm playing with my controller I press A the player goes to front (for example) and I let go of the a key but the character doesnt stop for like a whole second. it still thinks I'm pressing A. if you know what I mean. this happens in keyboard too. when I press w or any key, I play games like valorant, forza 4, nfs heat, csgo, rainbow. I have a razer cynosa v2 and PDP xbox controller wired. My system is rtx 2070 gigabyte aorus wifi mobo, i7 9700k, Samsung evo 860.

i live in argentina and these are the best keyboards that i found, these are for 70%programming and 30% gaming. my favourite switch is outemu brown, and outemu blue, reds are good but i prefer the others. i only tried a redragon with optomechanical outemu blue

TLDR: Certain apps (Search, Microsoft Store, and Sticky Notes) are not recognizing my keyboard while other applications are (Spotify, Edge, and Steam). Most likely software issue (Happening with other keyboards) Using Windows 10 (19042.746), on a ASUS G14 Laptop. Problem/Info: My keyboard is not being recognized in Settings, Search Bar, Sticky Notes, Microsoft Store, and the Xbox App. It is working in Spotify, Steam, and Microsoft Edge. I can type in the address bar of file explorer, but I cannot search in file explorer (This File Explorer thing is very confusing to me) I have tried the onscreen keyboard and a different keyboard, but both are having the same results. This is leading me to believe it is a software issue. I am using a ASUS G14 Laptop, Windows 10 Home (19042.746). I have my Laptop plugged into power, and in high performance power mode. Not sure if this means anything, but in Task Manager the tasks "Search" and "Windows Shell Experience Host" are suspended with the green leaf (UWP Process Group is suspended...) next to them. The issue is not that I am not getting any results when I search. The issue is that I cannot type anything to search Possible Issues: TaskBarX was installed. Downloaded from GitHub. Uninstalling it did not change anything, so I doubt that was the issue. Not sure if there is anything else. Only thing that I did between it working and not working was shutting down my laptop. Hello, i got this used bluetooth keyboard, but the only issue that's it's designed for android and not windows. So i noticed when i press the ESC key instead it acts as a back key. So in some games use the ESC key to pause the game, but in this case it's not possible. I tried keytweak remapper software, but it had no effect. so according to keytweak the scancode for the "esc" key is "57344" and not the number "1" as it should be. How can i make it work as the ESC key and not the back key??

I've had a CM Storm Quickfire Rapid-i TKL for a minute now, it recently died to an unfortunate act of masculinity (opening a jar of sauce for my roommate) which resulted in a dead board. I'm chasing something similar to it in both aesthetics and features. I've had a look around and the Ducky One 2 TKL is a standout in my search so far, also the DURGOD TKL seems ok too although I have no experience with that brand. Hey, first time posting to the forum. I recently bought a laptop and am having an issue with the keyboard. I have checked the drivers and they appear to be up to date and when I plug in an external keyboard the issue doesn’t occur. my issue is when I have holding ctrl + a the space bar stops registering. I noticed this while playing a game as ctrl is sprint and space is jump, when moving left, sprinting and trying to jump the space does not register. However this issue can be replicated in all application like Word, mail etc. even in the windows search bar holding this combination of ctrl and a prevents space bar registering. anyone have any suggestions?

So I have a laptop running linux and windows on the same sdd and bassicly when i switch to linux to play minecraft with friends i notice that sometimes keys arent registering and I have a macro for my mouse on one button when I press it it starts or stops the music or a video and I just noticed while holding down shift my macro doesnt work and sometimes if I can time it right pressing ctrl + w doesnt do anything in game. I tried unplugging my keyboard (its a chinese savio tempest rx keyboard) and that didnt help but when i switch to my msi laptop keyboard, everything is fine no glitches. So is there a problem with my keyboard not having compatibility for linux or I can maybe find drivers for Linux. Hello all i am looking to buy a new keyboard for around the same price as it would cost for a new controller for a ps5 or series x so around £60-£70. I refuse to pay stupid prices for keyboards like wth the razer Huntsman etc and believe that i should pay around the same price as it would cost for a cotroller for either xbox or PS. Idm whether it is mechancal or membrane i am just struggling to find something good for a decent price point. As long as it will last and is by a somewhat decent manufacturer i dm what it is. Hello LTT forum members, When I type on my Windows 10 PC, the letters appear multiple times. This is what happens: "Hello thiiiiiiiiiiiiiis is an example. I am getting sssssssssssssssssssick of this because I can't work rigggggggggggggggggggggggggggght now." It also lags a lot. It is obviously super annoying, so I have tried multiple things already. I checked this with another USB keyboard and with a PS/2 keyboard, they both had the same issue. They worked on my school laptop, however. I also read through posts on lots of forums for hours and tried doing the things they did to get it back to normal, but nothing worked. The main thing I saw was people with messed up filter keys or character repeat settings, but this was not the case for me. I wanted to know if this has to do with my internal hardware, so I completely formatted my SSD and HDD. I then installed elementary OS (being an Ubuntu fork) and noticed that I did not have the issue. When I installed Windows 10 Pro again though, it started doing this again. It must be something with my Windows Boot Loader then, right? It just can't be a Windows setting, because I wiped both disks. This can't be a driver error, because they were all reinstalled by installing a completely new Windows 10. If someone recognizes this problem and knows a possible fix, I'd love to hear it because I am pretty much hopeless right now. Thank you in advance. - Ruben
