One thing to keep in mind is that on Linux, the updater updates (almost) all your applications.
On Windows, it basically only updates Windows, some drivers, and a couple other MS Related Applications. (Office)

The second monitor is wide, really wide. 7680 pixels long. 3x Ultrawide. ha!
When I made this thread, I was thinking about monitor configuration within linux and how it's like ten times easier in linux. Configure your monitor setup, save config file, and move on with your life. Actually, I could use some advice on using Intel and Nvidia drivers together in Linux. I couldn't get it to work with multiple monitors. ^The same exact setup but in Linux. You're using Intel HD Graphics and Nvidia drivers together to display multiple monitors within Linux? How many monitors are you using? Which Window Manager are you using? What drivers are you using for Nvidia and Intel? Thank you!

In the last update (31st October), we moved Troubleshooting and New Builds & Planning up from below to above Computer Hardware. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to have had much of an impact on the number of topics that are getting moved into those sections, so I would be sceptical that moving them even higher would make much difference.

Also, that COVID peak is very impressive.

It has B-dies, I would try each XMP profile starting from the very next one up, if you encounter instability, increase the voltage, if it's still unstable increase it more, all the way up to 1.5v. You could also try the Ryzen memory calculator
    https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ryzen-dram-calculator/
although i find it more of a gimmick.

Go up step by step, testing for stability. If unstable, try loosening timings and adding voltage (stay at or below 1.5v). I’ve never had a very successful RAM OC, so that’s about as much as I can help.

I'm gonna close this thread down. It seems to have run its course.

To settle a couple of arguments, imo this is arguably fair use, and even if it wasn't, we are open to allowing other YouTubers to include our footage with proper crediting anyway.

My life is a drama-free zone, so if he's apologized then I don't want to hear another bad word about it. Everyone makes mistakes. Its what you do make them right that matters.

I think you maybe misunderstand the point of the 10 cent fee for plastic bags...?

It's an incentive for you to bring your own reusable bags that will last you years (in some cases, decades).
Wait a second, you getting 5 cents deposit back on bottles and cans makes you throw them in the trash? No offense, but why in the hell would you do that? Many places don't even have bottle deposit fees (In Ontario, we only have bottle/can deposits on alcohol).

You're supposed to return them for your money back. If you can't be assed to get your money back, at least recycle them.

Your laptop's NIC might be limited to 100mbps (AKA 10MBps), first check if both Ethernet controllers on both devices are even capable of gigabit.  A lot of laptops do not have gigabit NIC's.

For example this lineup goes from 420W to 820Watts, Just pick what ya need. I would go Max Desktop Wattage too, not idle.

I think under MAX load it's 10-15 Minutes. Idle probbly closer to an hour ithink.

I have not, my power is fairly stable.
CyberPower and APC are two good brands I have used.
Worst case, you return it if problem isn't solved, but a UPS is always good to have anyway.

Only problem that I see here is if there's an issue with the server, then no one is working, and people will not be happy. I'd rather place my bets on individual workstations so that if there's an issue, only a few of those can be diagnosed and everyone else is happy.

The only thing that I will centralize however, is storage. Everyone has access to the same storage off of the storage server, and I would run both an on-site and an off-site backup image of all of the storage contents, and run the servers on a RAID 50 or a RAID 60 array.
