I love the vibrant color, that bokeh red and blue tower especially.
Framing could be better. I think if you crop off the right side of the picture, it would bring the left side even more focus. But that's just my opinion.

Here is my original photo.

The GTX 970 and GTX 980 would do nicely, but you will likely need to get a different case to support the longer length cards (a Cooler Master N200 will do.) And I would suggest a new PSU, but it isn't necessary. The Rosewill Capstone 550M, EVGA SuperNova 650 G2 and Corsair CS550M are all good.

This is extremely short-sighted and egotistical. I'm sorry, there is no way to sugarcoat this. Saying there is nothing you can do about a bad business practice is the worst fact-denying shit ever. It's the same as people complaining about privacy and continue to use their smartphones, 10.000 apps and facebook the entire day that give two shits about your privacy and sell your soul to the highest bidder 10 times/sec. It's simple, stop using those services.
It's a business model. Meaning, for it to be succesful, people have to either use or buy it. If noone buys it, the business model gets scrapped. Or in the case of the AAA gaming industry, repackaged and tried again. But a continued denial of purchase of a community that says NO to cynically exclusive content will eventually win. Because it's no longer your Halo and Uncharted that get held hostage. Look at what happened to Tomb Raider, is that what you want? Is it not possible to contain your hungering consumerism for the benefit of us all? And i'm saying this to all people who agree with this "let everyone choose for theirselves"-thing.
 
And those same exclusives are used as a multi-purpose trojan horse. They also get used for introducing other types of annoying business practices. Pre-order content, retail-explicit content, day-one DLC's etc...
 
And you know what? The developer for uncharted will still want to create games. Much like bungie or 343 studio's will want to make games. If the consoles are gone, they'll go to PC. It'll just take some time, and you'll have plenty of games to play in the meantime. If you don't, you'll just have to deal with the perpetuated decline i already mentioned. Because it's real. Gaming is really being industrialised and it's getting duller and more commercially mainstream. Destiny's budget is just absolutely grotesque, and look what it became. A dull, focustested, grindy fps shooter. Wow, we haven't had one of those before.

We believe in PC gaming because there is so much more available to us that console gamers simply will never have access to. Like high framerates, and high resolutions, and high settings. Multi-monitor setups, and enough potential headroom to make whatever we're gaming on even more powerful. You can do none of these things on consoles.

Don't get the wrong idea. It isn't the console games we hate. A lot of us loooooove console games. I myself am a huge fan of Mario, Legend of Zelda, etc. In fact, PCs are another reason we love those games so much. Have you seen Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword on a powerful gaming PC with a 1440p/4K display, set to high settings and full-blown anti-aliasing? They look absolutely gorgeous.
 
Our main reason for disliking consoles is not because of the games. it's not because of the controllers. No, it's not even because of the simply abysmally inferior hardware that the systems use. It's the constant and unmovable insistence of "console gamers" that said inferior systems are superior in any way, despite the blinding and overwhelming evidence that PCs are much more apt for gaming in every possible respect. You can port games over to PCs with the save data you've built up on the console, you can use controllers for any console in history on a PC seamlessly using adapters, and you can make a gaming PC with a GTX Titan that is small enough to put under your TV and play from your couch.
 
We PC gamers choose PCs for gaming over consoles because we want far better than what consoles can give us and it makes us mad when people try to convince us that it's a waste. That's why we hate consoles. They're pitifully inferior but people try to convince both themselves and others otherwise. It pisses us off.
