This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

There is none. If you really want an amd cpu at this point get an 8320 or just wait for their next lineup.

Wrong.

Lol why would you want an AMD CPU

Fanboy.

In applications that can use all 8 cores an 8320 will nearly match a 4770k. However in applications that use 4 or less cores it performs more like an i3.

I'd say the 8320/8350 would be the equivalent.

Can we get a CPU bible so people can stop asking these kind of questions, or at least a big stickied thread with answers to these kind of questions?

If you can use all the cores then an 8320 or higher, but with anything that uses 4 or less cores there's not much that can keep up when both are at stock speeds
