you could run it untill the end of the event and sell it after, i bet GPU prices arn't gonna fix themselves that fast.

Hope my gamble works. My 2080s "might" be based off a reference 2080, as I cannot find a full waterblock for it. So bought a EK-Vector RTX RE, and it's getting delivered tomorrow. Also got another 420 radiator to go onto the front of my case. Model is ZT-T20820H-10P
It'll get stress tested (Providing it'll fit) on the next folding event. See how hard I can push that core.

UpTheDons reacted to jaslion in I’m on a tight budget for a gaming pc- what should I do?
Just get geforce now or something then. You are not getting a gaming pc for that money right now.

I assume OP is using this for mining or something like F@H.
I didn't notice OP was planning to use multiple GPUs, my bad!

I'm in!
Never mind the fact that I'm down 1 GPU, but my GTX 650 Ti BOOSTs will go nonstop.

UpTheDons got a reaction from Dillpickle23422 in New Phone Advice
I would recommend the Pixel 4a or one plus nord, both of which are pretty good value and good performers for their prices.
I get where your coming from but unfortunately most phone parts are being imported from China . I actually wouldn't go for phones from Xaomi or Huawei ect. as I find the software a lot more muddy and cluttered compared to standard Android based phones.

UpTheDons got a reaction from Kilrah in what are some impacts tech will have on games
What type of tech are we talking about? You might want to narrow it down to make it easier to discuss as "tech" is quite a broad subject.

UpTheDons reacted to LogicalDrm in Short survey please help
Furhtermore, this forum is for international audience. Local availability of prudcts as well as prices (and in your case effect of Brexit) will be more important to whether people go with prebuild or build themselves.

UpTheDons got a reaction from h diy in Short survey please help
As someone stated above this is probably a bad place to conduct this, most people on here are enthusiast PC builders so you wont get accurate results compared to your most likely target audience (general consumers wanting a PC without any hassle).Another side note to this, alot of people come on here and ask questions about starting up something like this. PC building as a business is incredibly hard to make any money in, with shipping, warranty issues etc. I mean unless you know that you have a good enough base to run this in your local area, its basically not worth it.

UpTheDons got a reaction from Chris Greene in PLS. I NEED HELP ON WHAT GPU TO BUY.
The 2070 super has the most reasonable price there/best value so I would recommend that. Should handle streaming and most games pretty well.
