There are no aftermarket coolers for Titan X afaik,
NVIDIA forbids the rest from tinkering with it.
Unless you consider watercooling blocks that is.

Yeah i noticed that... I honestly have no idea how that got messed up too
But no worries i will be having the bottom half re-done on each side to fix the spelling and the logo. Kinda sucks having to do so but i'd rather it be done properly than having to stare at a mistake everyday for the next few years lol. I'll probably hold off till i have the rest of the build done though, but it really shouldn't take long till then. Thanks for pointing that out everyone i'd rather know now and fix it then realize a year from now or something and feel stupid Thank you all for you advice, suggestions, ideas, and of course for following my build as well

    Big update for you guys
The airbrushing was actually a lot faster than even they thought it would be, and so i already have it back. Yay!
Here's the design i decided to go with.

So there you go. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out overall. Only thing though is the Aperture logo.... Not actually being an Aperture logo? But that ones on me. I apparently forgot to send the picture in the email, so they just looked at my rough sketch with a circle in place of the logo and painted on a circle. No big deal though i actually have some pure black and white Aperture stickers i can put over that and it'll fit right in. If it looks off i could always have it redone but i thought i'd do it this way first so i don't have to pay for it if it looks perfectly fine. Well i hope you enjoyed this update I'm excited for more to come!

    Hello again everyone!
So I got some stuff in the mail and I've built the system. Well, at least the first phase of it. So far it has a 5930k, 16gb of DDR4 and a GTX 960. The 960 I bought for another PC in the house, but it's what I'm using until i get my 980's. Everything is just air cooled as of now until i get all the water cooling parts. Well anyways, here you go

just random idea(s), if you are doing Water cooling
try use orange and blue tubing/rigid tubing and just white or transparent fluid

    Primochill Rigid tubing for example...

will match the portal theme, like portals transporting the fluid

also check out ColdZero's backplate for your graphic cards

you can custom design and get him to print your own designs, probably a robot aiming the portal gun at the  graphic block's g1/4 ports
Use tubing instead of EK FC termnials, it will link up to theme of orange/blue tubes(portals) being opened to transport the fluid.

    Behold! A white 900D!

The case came back from powder coating today and i was really excited to see it, so i put it all back together pretty quickly
I hope you guys like the look so far. I'm really happy with the look of it. Oh yeah, and sorry for the crappy quality of the pictures. Kinda the only place i had to do it was in front of my fish tank so...yeah. I'll try to take better photos next time. It's just getting kinda late now and i wanted to post an update before i go to bed. Again, hope you like it so far
(Oh and the window is missing because it got scratched -__- but i wanted to replace it anyways cause i didn't like the tint on it.)

    Hello!
I have a few things to bring up. First of all, i got some great looking build log banners thanks to @Rumikarimu.
Second of all, i've updated the original post with my thoughts on what i want to do with this build, and i'm keeping all the pictures of the build updated on a single post below the original, as well as the updated parts list.

And finally, i picked up the front panel from the shop. What do you think of it?

Personally, I was looking more for a cut straight from the metal, but i guess the guy misunderstood me. I mean, it looks fine and i still like it, but idk. His idea behind it was that if he did it this way then i wouldn't have to paint it. I was planning on painting it regardless though because for 1 i hate brushed aluminum, and 2 i dont really want the corsair logo on the bottom being this is a themed build. Either way though, i can't really have them do it again unless i buy another panel which is $50 so i guess this will do for now. Still looks cool, just not exactly what i had intended

My rough sketch of how i want to airbrush the case

Front panel of the case with the portal logo cut out

The case after being powder coated white

The first build stage of the system. Parts are not final. More "Awesome" is coming, no worries.
The case after being airbrushed (Yes i know the aperature logo is messed up. This will be fixed.)

    Welcome to my build log!

I've been planning this build out for quite awhile now and I've finally decided to go for it. It's still being planned as i go though, so feel free to comment any ideas or suggestions you have for me

Here's what I've got so far:

The case is being powder coated white on the side panels and the inside, leaving only the front back and top of the case in black I am having the portal logo cut out of the front of the case and i'm putting a light inside the case to make it glow on the outside I'm also going to have the case airbrushed to add some things from the game onto the outside of the case It will be a dual loop water cooled system with a blue and an orange loop Making an acrylic cover for the basement of the case When the PC boots it will make the sounds GLaDOS does while re-activating (in Portal 2) Probably getting some custom backplates made for the 980's Possibly ideas you guys give me (I'll keep the list updated) You can find the finalized parts and updated pictures of the build below.
I hope you enjoy the build

I've never had a problem drilling through acrylic. Pretty easy. Just go slow if you're concerned it's gonna crack, it'll heat up and melt out of your way anyways Only thing to be careful about is just making sure that the drill bit doesn't grab onto it. So take your time and you'll be fine.
(It was really hard to write this without it sounding really really wrong )

1.) Yes you should be perfectly fine with that. I can run it just fine with 2 780's.
    2.) Yes again
3.) Technically you can, its just that with my experience, using a 4k monitor and a lower res one scaling is kinda weird. so like say they are both the same size, a 4k and a 1080. The 1080 monitor would show up in windows as only being 1/4 the size of the 4k monitor. So to scroll the mouse over to that screen you would have to go half way up the 4k one. Idk if i'm making any sense right now but point is yeah it'll work its just kinda weird with the resolution difference. But you should be fine.
4.) Any slot is fine as long as your mobo supports sli, which most do. You just have to have an sli bridge that works. Typically people just use the sli ribbon bridge that comes in the box with the cards that support it, but you can also get some fancy looking ones if you care about the looks of it. My cards are spaced 4 slots apart because the water blocks on them are pretty big.
5.) Your best setup would be to use displayport which the 4k monitor will support. Second best would be hdmi, but you can't get more than 30fps with that. And lastly there is a way to convert the other connections (VGA -blue- or DVI -white- i'm guessing you're talking about) to displayport or hdmi. You can buy connectors for that, but i really wouldn't recommend it as the quality would suck due to really low bandwidth.

Just a quick update on some minor progress.
Tried doing cable lacing, but failed spectacularly at it after watching some guides on YouTube.
Perhaps LTT's upcoming video will reignite my interest in pursuing it again.

Here's a sneak peek at my custom sleeved cables using cable combs instead.

Realized I needed more cable combs to keep it tidy and have since placed order for a second batch of cable combs.
Ordered some White LED Strips and a Right Angle Sata converter for my SSDs mounted on the case itself as well.

Purchased an overpriced piece of Step Drill Bit from a local store to create holes on the acrylic mid-plate for the pass through fittings. I would say this is the most expensive piece of single use equipment I have bought for this build so far.
I would have absolutely no use for this after I finish my build, but hey some things have to be purchased...

Really worried that I might break the 3mm thick acrylic mid-plate at this stage.
Planning to drill a 1-2mm pilot hole, followed by a 6mm one before using the Step Drill Bit to drill 14mm.
Any tips to safely make the hole without damaging the acylic is welcome.

    Day Five: Case Modding Continued
    1) Mounted the Alphacool UT60 480MM Top Radiator and EK Vardars

    2) Hooked up the fans to Swiftech PWM Fan Controller
Was deciding between this and the NZXT Grid fan hub but decided on this after I saw Linus and team using this.
Really a cheap an effective solution, especially if you have a decent motherboard from brands like Asus which have an extensive Fan Control UEFI.

    3) Fixed the newly laser cut Acrylic Backplate.
The SSD mount area is now lower and in line with the XSPC Photon Reservoir and motherboard tray.

    4) Started messing with the wires and hooked up the custom sleeved case cables.

    First Build Log Post!

So I've had this guy for a while but he is finally finished how I like (for now, until I do a full overhaul haha).

    Specs are
    Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero
    CPU: Intel i5 4670k @ 4.2GHz
    Memory: HyperX Fury Black 16GB
    GPU: EVGA GTX 780 Classified @ 1320MHz // 7300MHz
Main Storage: 2x Samsung 840 EVO in RAID0
Mass Storage: 2x Seagate 2TB HDD in RAID0
    PSU: Corsair RM1000

Originally I had a ASRock Z87 Fatal1ty Killer, swapped that out. Also originally had an EVGA 650G PSU, swapped that out. Originally had 4x2GB Corsair Vengeance RAM (in these pics), swapped that out.

All the images here were taken during my last cleanout of the WC loop. It has dual 480mm rads running.

It also has a whopping total of 18 fans in it, and yet runs very quiet! They are all running super low. I have 2x NZXT GRID+ and well as 1x GRID running as fan control through the NZXT CAM software, which is very nice. I originally was going to use Corsair Link, but found the software to be pretty awful to figure out. CAM software is awesome.

Looks a little like surgery with all the paper towels you need with a customer WC loop.

Giant ass case makes this mobo look so small

Did a custom paint on the PSU

These two RADs were free when I got the 780 and waterblock, they're pretty beaten up but who cares!

These angle fittings were unfortunately an afterthought. Makes a HUGE difference, too bad they are twice the $$ as the regular fittings.
