Day Zero: Testing the Components and Updating Bios


1) Fix the motherboard, ram, graphic card, CPU Cooler and Power Supply




2) Press the Power Button and Cross my Fingers....
 

Boo yeah, boots on first try.
 

3) Update Asus X99 Deluxe Bios 

 

Downloaded the latest Bios from Asus website into a thumb-drive and selected it from the UEFI Bios

got them before the 3.5gb saga was out

 

and consumer protection law is weak here, distributors/re-sellers refuse to acknowledge the issue even

To be honest, I have lost track of how much I've spent.

That mobo with the black ram looks really nice! Are you planning on modding anything? Like plasti-dipping or something? If so, what do you have in mind? Oh, and the 970s are still great cards anyways, so don't sell them or anything.
