It's funny because I never buy game related merch junk. For some reason though I became slightly addicted to collecting Fallout sets and merch. I know they opened a store later, but I bought nothing from there.

FO3. The ONLY set I do not have is the original Pip Boy one. Mostly because they were just a clock, and known to break, and sell for several hundreds of pounds the last time I looked in about 2010.

I would say this here is my rarest item. Rare because they were never released or sold, and were only worn by the dev team who created FO3. IE Bethesda Softworks. I bought this at a charity auction in 2009, to help kids with autism.

He also sent me this. This was the point of sale hardboard poster for the launch of the game. It is now framed, complete with the backward date from the USA and all.
 

 
Like the dev shirt that is probably my rarest FONV item. They would have ended up in landfills.

Had a new/old rifle follow me home from Cabelas the other day.  Got a second Stevens model 70 Visible Loader.  The new one has the more rare octagon barrel and has the flip up peep sight.  Can't wait to get it to the range and see if it helps with lobbing CB shorts out to 100 yards.  🙂 

Layout yet to come, but I've been building a house, and put many, MANY hours into running wires.
 
Just recently got to a point where it's presentable.
 

First AR build is "done". No good pictures right now, but all it needs is the grey stock and a threaded bolt catch pin.
 
Otherwise, it'll shoot.

OMG looks like Rockstar released the trailer earlier than planned. They set a YouTube premiere for tomorrow afternoon but it got released
just minutes ago. Well done Rockstar!

Streamlight microstream.
 

The build continues, this time with some nifty parts!
I started off just planning to build an upper, but I saw the grey receiver set while planning out the rest of my build and had a set of realizations:
1. I like the color
2. If I buy the set, then I'll already have a lower for when I build the complete rifle
3. I won't have to worry about color matching the upper and lower
 
So one purchase and $20 at my local FFL later, here we are. Did a test fit of the upper + barrel, which fit perfectly. Upper and lower also fit together very nicely, albeit without pins. Should make for a very nice rifle when it's all done.
 
I also decided to go for a two tone grey/black, which should look very cool.

Got a lil Quadro P400 for the OptiPlex 9020 I've decided to turn into a capture rig (at least it will be until I get something for analog capture). Stupid thing is in basically brand spanking new condition for somewhere around the $34 range which is mind blowing.

On an unrelated note: I just shot my first 22 pistol match (the entry level steel match at my club), and I'm hooked! (I have an SR22, and the combo of 10rd mags and gawdawful trigger.... didn't help my admittedly lackluster skill).
 
This, of course, activated the "poor financial decisions" part of my brain, and I am constantly scrolling past listings for the P322/TX22 (although I'm leaning towards the P322).
 
Now I've just got to wait for the MVD to ship my updated license, so the address matches :(.
