Person with a brain. last gen was on 28nm, with a 4 year old architecture. We saw NVIDIA work wonders last year on an old process. i dont see why AMD couldnt work wonders on a new process and an arch 4 years in development.
If anyone is a fanboy its you

Supposingly that a H100i GTX or something similar would fit in the top.

They didnt say no more Tegra. they said no more mobile SoCs. IIRC this was said in context with the Tegra/Pascal chips for automotive. NV will keep making Tegras, but will not restrict them to 5W, but rather make them better, and use them in stuff like Shields, car systems, etc.

iPhones are great. regular updates, apps usually have more functionality on iOS, the design is imho amazing, iOS is a much better OS than Android, especially regarding power usage and memory management, i could go on...
the downside is of course the price, but then again, they are no more expensive than the Galaxy S7 or the G5 or the HTC 10 so...

That's really cool. Their new APU's/laptop processors has this too:

I think this is a huge upside for consumers, as you might be able to reuse motherboards more often, unlike Intel, where you almost have to replace your motherboard with each new CPU.

But even more interesting (for me), is that we can get much better ITX boards, with much more stuff on it, as you no longer need to waste space on a chipset. Death to ATX, long live mATX and ITX!

The downside of course could be less overclocking and more expensive CPU's (which should be negated by cheaper motherboards).

Intel already has the northbridge integrated, so why should the even simpler southbridge (chipset) all of the sudden be a problem?

Exactly, INTEL RECALL. Tell me, when was the last AMD recall that you can remember? I can't remember if they had any, so statistically Intel had more. What would happen if it would happen. What would happen if AMD has no faults on their upcoming CPUs? Now look at this, nothing. Jesus Christ, you're just fantasising about things against AMD for the sole reason of doing it.

By doing what lots of people do on the forum already and just ignore him. These days I don't even really read anything he types. If I see his avatar or name somewhere I just automatically skip over whatever it is. And if people are ever asking for input just give your opinion and back it up with fact if at all possible. Just trust me when I say that no good will come of trying to debate with zMeul on the pros/cons of AMD products.

If you want to talk about this further, I suggest we take it off thread to a PM.

Pretty much bang on. I haven't actually pre-ordered, but I am interested due to the Modern Warfare remake. I haven't bough a CoD since BO1,if Infinite Warfare has a halfway enjoyable campaign then that'll be a bonus. I actually kind of like the overall pretense of the thing, but I haven' saturated myself with futuristic shooters in the last few years so I guess I'm one of the few anomalies.

Its doable but the pumps for It are hard to come by. I've had a running ebay search going for years and I've only seen one or two.
You wouldn't have to vent an alcohol system as long as you don't mind building a small amount of pressure. It's vapor pressure really isn't all that high at the temperatures we're talking about.
No, not at all. It's just a metal.
Gallium melts at 29.8° C but thanks to some amusing properties, can stay liquid below that temperature as long as there are no solid pieces in the system to start crystallization.
More interestingly, Galinstan (a gallium, indium, tin alloy) has a melting point of -19° C and would be very well suited to cooling systems. That is if it weren't for the nasty alloying activity of gallium that's been mentioned already.

Ok so it is poisonous, but what's a bit of danger when you're looking for the lowest temperatures?

Gallium has a melting point of 34C iirc. It would stay solid since coolant temperature is in the 20s assuming your room temperature is 22-25c as well. not really a very good liquid coolant then
