Weak1ings got a reaction from BaRahTay in Googles Sued For Censoring Conservative PragerU
Basically, PragerU, a non-profit conservative organization is suing Google for their content being blocked by Youtube in its "Restricted Mode," Citing that it infringes on their freedom of speech from the 1st US amendment.  Their videos are also demonetized though to a extent I do not know.  The demonetization could simply be missed revenue by having it not show up for the lost viewership.  I think this is relevant because Internet censorship is something we should all be extremely interested in and if its happening, should respond to appropriately.

Weak1ings got a reaction from Chaicho in Laptop for college?
You should consider more than just College in your laptop purchase:

    Do you game?
    Is this your only PC?
Can I upgrade my laptop without voiding the warranty?
Can I upgrade its RAM and internal HDD easily?

And lastly, the most important part:  Do you even need a laptop for what you are doing?  I have friends who do not have a laptop and do fine in community colleges.  Laptops are not necessarily a requirement, but it depends on what you do.

I am in Computer Engineering and would die without a laptop that is capable of gaming, (GTX 960M) my friend going to a community college is going into the automotive industry and still shares his desktop PC with his parents!

    Edit:
As far as recommendation goes, AVOID any Chromebook.  What you will be using must be able to use Microsoft Word, I've personally had instances in which Google Docs failed to catch a dumb mistake (like a sentence fragment) while Word caught that same one.  That said, its not perfect either.  (one could go for Linux, but Windows is a lot more stress free.)

If you only want to play these two games, you will probably only need a dual-core without hyperthreading.  The GPU is absolute overkill, but I didn't want to go to the 750 ti for $10 less.

Do you have an analog or USB headphone set?
    Try another pair to test.

Notice that the 1060 3GB can run all of the games around.  VRAM often scales according to the hardware as seen in a game like Space Engineers, it uses 6.5GB of VRAM on my GTX 1070.  But it also runs fine on a R9 380 with 2GB.

The GTX 1060 3GB will easily be the best choice among the 1050 Ti, and RX 470.  once you reach the RX 480 you may as well choose either that, or the 1060.
The 1060 is just way faster than the 470.
