Its funny how elections work:  Nobody votes for Johnson because he can't win, and he can't win because nobody votes for him.

Thats not a Question. But with Trump we will at least have something to laugh. Clinton B#@&¥ would maybe try to start a War with Russia.

I guess Jill Stein is my pick, but she's not ideal for me either. I don't agree with her views on Nuclear energy for example, but I support a more socialist policy that she represents.

Between Trump and Hillary I like and respect Trump more, but I don't agree with him especially if trickle down economics is his policy.

Hillary is just WW3 confirmed.

Kinda funny that this came out, since Hillary wants us to think that Trump would cause this...  I do agree with you though,  While Hillary wants to hate Russia, Trump wants to work with them.

Did y'all watch the two debates? When asked a question, trump would begin ranting about some completely unrelated topic. I personally thing Clinton is the better choice here (not a good choice but a better one) because of her previous political experience. Sure you may not like career politicians but think of it this way: would you rather have a cardiac surgeon or a pilot performing your open heart surgery? Or would you want a cardiac surgeon flying your plane?

Your so called career politicians are responsible for all that shit. Its time for a change. Clinton is a dangerous maniac.

That might matter to some Americans. But to start with, many Americans are actually fucking sick and tired of the PC crowd and are voting Trump just to punish the regressive left. So being a disrespectful leader is actually a desirable quality for many that wish that somebody would grab the whiny fucking leftists by their pussies collectively.

But for us outsiders....and you might be surprised given how I'm Mexican but Trump being Nationalistic it's a better choice than Hillary warmongering all over the world. Despite her claims she is the more likely to start military interventions and operations abroad.

Something worth considering. Especially the 3rd point, the possibility of a Trump election leading to a reduction of the power of the executive branch.

You guys are nuts.

Let's try to make it a reasonable debate.

State your reasons WHY you support your candidate and where you got your data.

The two choices are Trump and Hillary. No one else will ever win. (Yay two party system!)

Let's face it. Hillary will not start WWIII. No one will start WWIII. It's not going to happen. Whether you like it or not, the people in the upper reaches of the government are far smarter than you. Most of them have gone to and passed law school. Could you do that?

A much more realistic scenario is that the US's neighbors start hating us because we have a leader that actively hates them. And in all honesty that probably wouldn't happen either. What would really happen if Trump got elected is well... nothing. No wall would be built, nothing would be significantly changed and all of the people on the right would be pissed because nothing happened. "But he was still a better choice than Hillary." They'd say. Sure, we'd have the right to own automatic weapons for a few more years, but big deal.

Here's what it boils down to for me.

The main reason people hate on Hillary is because of the e-mails. They think she's dishonest, corrupt, etc. However, she's not the first person to use a personal e-mail for government matters. Is it right? No, not at all. It was careless, sure. Would it happen as president? Of course not. The president doesn't have a "personal" e-mail address. (And even if he does, it's definitely not answered by him.) Hillary has experience. She was an up and coming star when she was younger, and accomplished more things that most of us could ever dream of. Sure, you could say the same for Trump, but not in politics. Hillary has BEEN there. She has the empathy to be president, and the balls to stand up to Trump. As for what was classified? Well I've worked with people that have worked on classified things. It's RIDICULOUS the hoops they have to jump through to do ANYTHING. For example: If you work on a classified (or any type of "protected" project) and you have to give a talk somewhere (scientific conference). You have to submit your talk weeks to months in advance so that you won't give anything away. Do you know how difficult that is? Many scientific talks are on projects completed in the last few weeks! The amount of trivial things that are secret or classified is nuts.

Trump, on the other hand. is extremely brash. It's one of the reasons I don't think he'd do well as president. You can't openly hate on entire countries as the leader of the free world. We're supposed to be setting an example for the rest of the world, not teaching them how to hate. Trump does not have political experience. The government is NOT strictly a business. It requires empathy and sympathy for other countries and people. Matters need to handled delicately, not with an iron fist. Then there's the obvious racism and male chauvinism. I absolutely HATE saying that because of the social justice warriors and how much I hate people like that, but it's true. Trump honestly thinks that men are superior in every way. That's not... right. Yes, men are stronger, can run faster, and jump higher. Yes we have different brain chemistries, but that does not make one sex overall "better" than the other. And for the love of freaking LMG don't hit on your own freaking daughter. Trump IS racist. I mean honestly, pull out any youtube video you want. The president is supposed to be our LEADER. Everybody's leader. Not just the people he likes. I personally don't want a racist/bigot as the person I'm supposed to look to to lead my country.

People say that Hillary is a criminal or dishonest, yet they support the person who constantly goes back on what he says and CONSTANTLY lies to the faces of everyone watching him on TV. As for who tells the truth more often, well we have websites for that (attached pictures). Admittedly it's run by a reasonably liberal news agency, but here's the kicker for me.

The vast majority of my colleagues in the upper reaches of my university are liberal. We look at facts and make conclusions based on them. That's what we're good at. Also, the majority of scientists are democrat and liberal. LINKY. Although apparently the general public doesn't know that.

So basically, most of the smartest people in this country are democrat and liberal. And sure, no one should "follow the crowd" but at least try to emulate the scientific method and make decisions based on facts and truths, not media sensationalism. I ask you this: If you are pissed at me for writing this, if you think I'm a liberal bastard, then please, come up with a coherent and well thought out argument against the points I have shown here. I would love to have a calm debate with you. Take a half hour and try to find the facts behind your statements. And if any of those facts are from a website with the words "conservative" or "republican" or "DIEHILLARY" in them, then they are NOT good sources of information. No news site is good in my experience. If you must draw from the news, then look at many news sources from both sides of the fence (left and right) and make your OWN decision on what actually happened. Once you broaden your horizons a bit, you may find your strongly held "views" aren't as cleanly within your grasp anymore.

Ah, democracy at its finest, where the many cannot really choose their leader, but still choose to believe that they did. Democracy is so overrated. (damn house of cards getting to me!)

Personally I'd vote Clinton, because I wouldn't want a misogynistic, racist, bigoted slob in power who openly admits to fundamentally supporting sexual assault on women. Trump is very much establishment, he comes from old money, is friends with plenty of politicians (heck The Clintons went to his wedding to his current wife) and dodges taxes like a student dodges library fees. He lies blatantly to the public, such as with not being able to release his tax returns (which is absolute bollocks, there is nothing stating that you cannot release your returns whilst an audit is taking place), he lied about his stance on Iraq, he lied about his position in the Bill Clinton scandals, and from what I've seen after watching the two debates, he stalks Hillary constantly and has very few policies of his own.

Don't get me wrong, Hillary is also not exactly whiter than white, I'd much rather have Obama for a 3rd term if it wasn't for the amendments, but the whole email scandal is the only real dirt they can throw at her, and even then it's quite petty at this point, it's like listening to a broken record. The dinner speeches are rather interesting, but what she said in the debate on sunday is very true, politicians, and anyone trying to gain support of different groups with different agendas has to be able to sway them with different angles of attack. Offering one group one solution, and another group a different solution to similar but not identical problems is what Clinton was on about, it's how bills get passed through Congress and the Senate, it's how most presidents got to where they are, heck I did that sort of thing in principle at the weekend, by convincing two different groups of friends to go out drinking together by offering them both different choices of where to go, then pleasing them both by going to both places, but one after the other.

Either way, with Trump effectively being dropped by the GOP, and with Paul Ryan abandoning any support for him in order to focus on preserving the majority in Congress, the Senate and the Supreme court, all of which look likely to be lost or very closely fought, the republican party has finally come to the realisation that they chose to support someone who is tarnishing their party image for the long term and is causing the party to become very divided on matters. It actually looks like the party is about to split in two, which would basically hand the democrats the presidency for another 2 terms.

Aww, yeah... the potential for a shitstorm is back and just as strong as ever...

In an attempt to keep this functional:

Looks like it is time for a cultural reconstruction in many parts of the industrialized world.  You have bigoted smack talkers on one side, and overly-entitled justice seekers on the other.  The bigots have the numbers as they have had more time to refine their craft.

So where do the rational, responsible and tolerant population fit in?  Everywhere.  This is the demographic that keeps life for every person progressively moving to a brighter future.

Trump's campaign shows us the republican party in it's current form is dead.  The southern strategy has allowed the most despicable examples of social creatures to have a voice in how US legislation is commanded.  For many in this thread that do not understand the republican culture in the USA:  After the Equal Rights movements in the 60s and 70s, Linden Johnson's admin soured the desire for any remaining bigots to remain Democrats.  The Reps realized soon after that they would never get the votes back from the majority of minority groups in the USA and decided to solidify there voter base in the shit of the country... The Southern Strategy.  *wink *wink  We got your back whitey.  No matter how bad life is, at least you aren't black.  xD

The Democrats have there own problems as well, but it is not exclusive to this party.  Reps take corporate money to finance campaigns as well.  This does not excuse Dems from their propensity to do what they are told, when it is the money doing the talking.  The Clintons are prime examples of how to play this shitty game and be the best at it.  Rich as f*ck.

At the end of the day, worse is not better.  Trump loses because he is worse than Clinton.  Worse at business, worse at governance, even worse as an individual.

The make believe reasons that people have for supporting Trump is comical.
