zzzzzzzhhh reacted to Johntheawesomeguy in School laptop battery and charging issues
the charging circuit on the laptop is screwed up, you won't be able to fix it by replacing the battery. If this laptop was given to you by the school then they will probably replace it. If you personally own it you probably have to go to a repair shop to get them to fix it since it will likely require them to micro solder components on the board

zzzzzzzhhh got a reaction from colejohnson66 in ULTIMATE RGB PC Build Guide
RGB doesn't make any build any better in my opinion, it is the colour scheme that brings the aesthetics of the build together.

zzzzzzzhhh got a reaction from Worst On Team in Compatibility check for my first build
No need for the aftermarket cooler, good luck on the 3D printing.
The build is completely fine, could be better with your budget but I don't blame you being in SA.

You might want to check out the Logitech G502 at the same price-point, DeathAdder should be fine if you like the look anyway.

That would be a good pick unless you were concerned about weight, the g502 weighs a lot

zzzzzzzhhh got a reaction from Mira Yurizaki in White LED strip that doesn't suck?
Alright, thanks, the flexibility isn't needed for the LED's behind the desk, will be looking into it!

zzzzzzzhhh got a reaction from _Dr_Eye_ in Which part to upgrade first?
1. Your haircut.
2. GTX 1070 or 1060, I think they are both good choices.
3. A better PSU if you can.

These exist? Is it normal to find these trolls? Since I've never found any before, but I am quite new to the forum so no surprise there.

You aren't buying that, no chance. The 1000$ case, lmao.

zzzzzzzhhh got a reaction from Zonther in Trying to deside on parts for new build.
1. Unactivated windows has little to no difference from activated windows, and it doesn't affect performance.
2. There are certain applications which don't give you 'hacked windows' all it does is activate the unactivated windows that you got for free.

zzzzzzzhhh got a reaction from InfernalSurge in R5 1500x or R5 1600?
1. Yes, yes it will, especially on CPU intensive titles, though on resolutions higher than 1080p, that might not be the case.
2. CPU Intensive games will.
3. Not really, either way, it is a significant boost in cores which makes the difference.
4. Probably less heat, it is clocked lower.
5. That is quite a stirring question, not sure myself.

This is a reply to both @Varpin and @Vespertine. It seems that the Ryzen is a lot better when running multiple things such as a stream, Youtube, and having Chrome running in the background.

zzzzzzzhhh got a reaction from NEO_STARK in [NOOB QUESTION] What languages are essential for game development
As being somebody who only specializes in web languages, I can't give you details on the exact languages, but there will be variants of C (C++, C#, C), and definitely Python. It's best if you just start learning the basic commands, think of a program you want to make with them, then search up any questions you may have when looking for an exact command or way to get something working, it is how I got started on Javascript.
