RGB doesn't make any build any better in my opinion, it is the colour scheme that brings the aesthetics of the build together.

it is a fact though when blue LEDs are in your PC it is cold and when red LEDs are in it your PC will burst into flames faster than an FX 9590 on stock cooling on a shit mobo with R9 295x's in quad fire.

Why did they get booted out of that house again? Is it because of the noise they make? I don't really know the story because the first time I saw Linus was back in 2015 in his Techquickie channel I think around April or May.

Oh yes, the 805 Infinity. A case with usability that is a 0 and looks are a 10 as long as you are only looking at the front.

Those poor 1070s are going to be starved

Oh my, I am actually cringing. Why'd you even put fans in the front? It is completely solid, there is NO AIRFLOW in the front of the case.

I want to see a video of you stress testing it with the AIO in the front. The top 1070 is getting no air, the AIO if set to exhaust isn't exhausting anything and isn't intaking anything. The only reasonable places to put fans in this case are the bottom and the back. Top and front are solid. I am actually quite  curious as to how this would work with what I can assume the only exhaust being that rear fan and the only intake being those bottom 2 fans. The bottom 1070 might be fine but then again, it isn't putting that heat anywhere

So linus uses i5 7600K, pair it with GTX 1070 SLI, and call it good for "Content Creation"?

WHY? There is absolutely no reason to buy i5 when there is Ryzen around. ESPECIALLY for "Content Creation"

Why did you guys do this? Is this for the sake of sponsorship? Because if that's the case, i cannot recommend LinusTechTips for ANYONE who is looking for "Tech Tips". That name should live up to your action, you give people Tech Tips to implement according to their need. And from what I've seen, this is definitely NOT it.

I'm hugely disappointed in this action. Its a huge biass and its stupid. Choosing a product over something better because they will get more sponsorship is WRONG.

You people should think about it. This channel is slowly drifting off its goal, which is to help people.

Those are some heavy accusations my friend. 1. if this was sponsored by Intel it would be declared in the video and 2. it's kinda funny to me that people still think we bend to Intel's will "for the sponsorship" after the Core i9 rant... (do you think that would've EVER seen the light of day if Intel had as much control over us as some people choose to assume?) But whatever I guess. We love having Intel as a sponsor (just like we love having AMD as a sponsor), but we're certainly not going to risk our integrity to appease them. Just think of the impact on our livelihood if we were to actually do something like that - we might as well have NO sponsors left, because we certainly wouldn't have the support of the community.

The Core i5 is a fine choice for gaming, and if I'm not mistaken what Linus says is that if you're interested in content creation and only want to change out one part from this build he would recommend upgrading to a Core i7.

The point of this build is not price to performance or even "the best performance" - it's "the RGB-ness," and to facilitate that our guys chose to use this board, which just so happened to be an Intel board. Nothing more than that.

I am glad that you guys are finally doing a classic build guide, even if the parts list isn't something I would recommend anyone buy (not that it's a bad build, just not the best value and cooling with that case is a bit lacking)

Why does all the "build guides" they do don't make sense?

Not very long ago they did the "be quiet!" build guide that was pointless, now this. Seriously, wtf?

Yes you can say "it does what it says" but come on, that's no excuse to do a clearly flawed build.

Did you guys do any research of the case apart from it's rgb-ness? I mean if you did you would know its cooling performance is bad, really really bad. The front fans get almost no air, (there are also some minor flaws but whatever) and to top it all off you threw the rad there...

Also, you could have gone with rainbow cables from cablemod, or at least white ones, they make the RGB more intense.

I mean yes it looks good but the performance sucks. It's like a nice car that breaks down all the time, nice to look at but you wouldn't want one :P

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

how can you "not have access"? if you have even 1 FRAME of video of the kitchen set with no one in it then you can green screen it in whenever you want.

also if you couldn't sync the led on the block/pump you should have turned it off, that solid white while everything else changed just wrecked it.
