Good God. Take some time and read through your post before posting it, it's so hard to read.
I'd get something with WiFi 6. I don't know if either of those are that, but I wouldn't be investing in a router without it.

When I got my new system in 2006-2009 was a system with Q9650 Quad Core with 8GB DDr2 Ram, Nvidia Geforce GTX 285 x 2 sli 1920x1080 75Hz Monitor and MX518 mouse that best mouse ever :D.

Shes, been a good mouse to me iv had her since they released this mouse in 2016 I am a low dpi user so it got worn out a bit I have replaced the feet twice due to ware.

I see it as distance and as you said the age of the copper.
Fiber needs a single booster every 50km not like copper when after 5km you basically start having issues unless you have a booster for that.
Yes copper is cheaper but has major downsides now days, early 2000's yes the speeds back then were fine due to how much data you could store and websites had smaller sizes but now that hard drives can reach 10TB on mechanical and any for ssd since that is limited to physical space and how many nand flash.
I would hope to see you have FTTP or HFC since those 2 are fiber and they have pros and cons where the other 2 are for the people who kinda have an idea how it works but not completely.

And I believe these limitations (outside of physical network problems) are solely down to ISP's not buying enough bandwidth.  If the CVC were cheaper this would be much less of an issue, however if CVC's were cheaper the whole NBN wouldn't be the problem it has been from day one.

It's not games its the piss poor installation of them rushing to get it up and ISP's not buying correct speed packages since its all run by government based centers so before we chose an ISP make sure they have good rating I have triple fiber setup with iiNet and never have an issue it went down once for me but I have not had an issue since connecting.
 
They advertise speeds some ISP's but since they do not pay for the correct data packages from the NBN it becomes slow. I would stick with a high rated ISP on the NBN.

I don't necessarily mind larger fans. It's the tiny, high pitched whining ones I detest.

10% why im in to servers. Just fucking love that sound. It's like a car enthus hearing a V12 IRl.

I only like the big fans. I have a thermaltake core v1 and i really like the 200mm fan in it. It's quiet out of the box, but i'd like to change the fan curve to make it louder. just like razor blade said, it's therapeutic.

Ta it seems to be fine no scratched or grooves ect. Nonononono I was using a micro cloth and I had that on my bed to and rolled down and got stuck to the screen but seems the marks went away after a wipe.

High percentage isopropyl alcohol is your friend for cleaning electronics. I fixed my step sister's laptop that had coke spilled on it with some 95% isopropyl alcohol and a soft bristled tooth brush not too long ago. Saved a good £800 or more on buying a new one. 

yeah. I did it on my build successfully as well. The best method of cleaning your PC I have used/seen.

Was a few years back but AUS is building either full fibre to the house like me or fibre in street and cooper in house since were so big and small population we need the fibre for rural towns my uncle lives 100 km out of town hes rich he had a fibre cable installed out to there. Hes on same plan as me but gets 175/27.5 max due to distance.

Yea it's very sharp and responsive now the PC even my internet speed got a boost not the mbits but how fast it gets to the max here it is.
