Cleaning Motherboard With Isopropyl Alcohol 100% Worked Better Then I Though

As It says I posted few days back I got tiny bit of thermal paste in the cpu socket so i got some isopropyl alcohol 100% and a very very very very soft art brush *NEW* and cleaned the socket following the pins directions in the socket but then I removed the heat sinks on Chips on CPU left side got replacement pads and the south bridge. So I also got some bigger art brushes and cleaner the whole board 4 times even inside sata ports + pci sockets ect ect and amazingly my pc runs 6c cooler and got a 15 fps boost in bf1 25 in csgo 35 css as of this post I am writing. 

 

Also I got a new cpu cooler Noctua NH=U12S CPU Cooler dual fans.

 

I also sat it in front of a warm area or heater on very low to get inside the areas that are hard to reach to dry.

 

Since isopropyl alcohol 100% evaporates that was good

 

BUT before anyone does this remember it can destroy the mobo, sockets ect so prob best to do it to a old slow pc or a cheap on and see how you go.

High percentage isopropyl alcohol is your friend for cleaning electronics. I fixed my step sister's laptop that had coke spilled on it with some 95% isopropyl alcohol and a soft bristled tooth brush not too long ago. Saved a good £800 or more on buying a new one.

yeah. I did it on my build successfully as well. The best method of cleaning your PC I have used/seen.

Yea it's very sharp and responsive now the PC even my internet speed got a boost not the mbits but how fast it gets to the max here it is.

Was a few years back but AUS is building either full fibre to the house like me or fibre in street and cooper in house since were so big and small population we need the fibre for rural towns my uncle lives 100 km out of town hes rich he had a fibre cable installed out to there. Hes on same plan as me but gets 175/27.5 max due to distance.

Update Crysis 3 I avg fps 115ish Avg on default settings. Now since clean 126fps so I gained 11fps.

Crysis 1 default 1920x1080 and settings default. 155max low 67 avg 90's post more later a list.

 

Before clean max 122fps avg 75 low 51fps.
