Does Lint Roller aka Sticky Roller Damage Monitors

I was cleaning my Acer XB241H Predator 144hz then my Lint Roller rolled down on my bed got stuck to the screen when it rolled down the bed is it ok that it only was on there for a few seconds and I was not rough to take it off. Was scared I might damage my 700$ monitor.

Marks went away after cleaning with a microfiber cloth but I've seen googling this that there are lint rollers for monitors but mine was a basic lint roller and was hoping it won't do damage and show up some other time.

Also if anyone has used basic lint roller for your clothes is it ok to use it? they're great for getting dust but unlike old CRT monitor's, I'm not sure if it is safe to use it and roll up the dust etc.

Your monitor will be fine, though I wouldn't recommend using the lint roller on it.

I'd just stick with a nice microfiber cloth.

I'd just clean my monitor with a barely damp cloth and then dry with a microfiber cloth. I don't see any need for a lint roller. Anyway, I don't see any way it could damage it, other than leave sticky marks possibly.

HEADS UP, THIS ACCOUNT IS INACTIVE NOW

I'm keeping everything else the way it was for anyone who might check out my answers in future, but I won't be using LTT.

Ta it seems to be fine no scratched or grooves ect. Nonononono I was using a micro cloth and I had that on my bed to and rolled down and got stuck to the screen but seems the marks went away after a wipe.
