Thank you so i should just bite the bullet and go with PETG now. I'm not worried about the difficulty in using it I was just wanting to use soft to get it up and going quicker.

Update
Big announcement guys!
The Build is finished and already on its way to Dreamhack Leipzig, Germany where it will be showcased at the ASUS booth. Such a great honour to me!
The first little wave of final pics is online, there will be more when i receive the system again
But first i have some shots of the building process, please excuse that i only took them with my smartphone.
Now, let me show you the first pics of the final build
A big thanks to ASUS for supporting and showcasing this project, it is a honor to create a build for such a company! I also want to thank my other sponsors, CoolForce for their great fittings, tubes, rigid UV LED strips and the unique mixed UV dye, BitFenix Deutschland for the orange Fans and LED strips and my friend Matthias aka ModdingStylez for the decals, tools and for supporting me since i started casemodding! And Thanks to nubcustoms.com for creating these awesome GPU backplats!
Stay tuned for more pics

Smooth Bunz reacted to QueenDemetria in HP Pavilion Revamp: Plan B
Not really, the combination of life and weather has put this project on hold. Don't worry though, I haven't forgotten about Plan B, and I will be getting some wood-working tools soon to start rebuilding the case

Smooth Bunz reacted to stealth80 in Very Low FPS in Skyrim with a GTX 980
Try putting the game back to default, you may have mods conflicting. You should be pulling much higher numbers than that, my 970 ran skyrim + hd and some mods at 4k with no issues and that was prior to adding the 2nd one

Smooth Bunz reacted to the pokemon kid in NCase M1 CPU cooler
I watched a video of the Cryorig C7 and it failed a test because it overheated... So the Noctua was the one to go for!

And you call yourself a fanboy!
Well I just bought the NH-L9x65! Hopefully it will do a good enough job at cooling the machine! Otherwise I am really thinking of making a custom loop with the Alphacool Eisberg!

Smooth Bunz reacted to the pokemon kid in NCase M1 CPU cooler
The Noctua NH-L9x65 a pretty much identical design. I would probably either go for the Noctua or the Cryorig C7.
That is an option, however the venilation is only coming in from the side and would be hitting the cooler directly on the top. Not sure what that would do to cooling. I prefer the style of the blower design which also gets the motherboard

^^ Win, win, you keep X99 whilst getting Ncase M1.

No, I just want to stay away from Hydro coolers. A custom loop in this thing will cost about £80~, so I realistically want to spend about £30-40 otherwise I can start to look at the positives of a custom loop

Smooth Bunz reacted to the pokemon kid in NCase M1 CPU cooler
I already have the H100i, I want to try and stay away from Hydro coolers as I will just end up going down a custom loop for the CPU.

Thats the problem I am finding. There is lots of big decent coolers which wont find and lots of small ones which will but arent great thermally

Smooth Bunz reacted to the pokemon kid in NCase M1 CPU cooler
Hi All,
I am having a bit of trouble finding a cooler which matches what I need. I have currently got an NCase M1 and Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM. I need something that is tall enough to clear the RAM but short enough to fit into a case itself.
The Cooler can be a maximum of 115mm in height! If it is at this thickness, it will be touching the intake fans on the side of the case.
The main issue is that I have got Corsair Dominator Platinums and the CPU cooler would need to clear them.
What options do I have? I dont want anything that will hide the RAM either.
I have currently got a H100i in place but its not really working as its pushing against the RAM way too hard now, I have had a few occasions where I have had RAM issues because of it... I dont massively want a Hydro cooler.

Smooth Bunz got a reaction from rasesh in Calling all MODDERS -- GTX HYBRID Shroud with LED - 4 questions!
Do I own any of it no but I did build a pc that had it like a week or two ago. I used the led shroud and used a piece of film from a old clear colored folder/binder divider It was a little difficult but worth it in the end we did a darkish blue color

Update time! So when I placed the order for my sleeved extensions, I also ordered a set of white sleeved front panel extension cables, but he forgot to include them in the first package with the other sleeved extensions. But they finally arrived today! So I decided to throw them in, and took a few pictures along the way.
Icemodz cabes look really nice for how inexpensive they are (i think). Although that's coming from someone who has never seen any other sleeved cables in person, apart from Bitfenix ones.
It was really hard to take a picture of the area where they plug in because it's really close to the GPU and the bottom of the case. I had to hold my camera with one hand and my phone as a flashight in the other hand.
Now here are a couple of terribly lit glamour shots I didn't feel like setting up any other lights, nor do I really know what I'm doing when it comes to photography lighting.
Well that's it for now! I'm super excited to start the liquid cooling stage, but money and shipping times are currently in the way. Stay tuned though because it will come eventually!
