Downgrade = Upgrade?

So I have a pretty nice set up and what not but I want to down grade it and sell my stuff so i'll have some spare money.. I currently have a 34" 3440x1440 ultrawide and a 27" 1440p.. I am looking at going to a 29" ultrawide and two 23" on the sides.

for my PC I am running x99 at the moment but thinking about going back to a 4790k and get the asus impact z97 and along with a ncase m1 which is amazing!


Should I down/upgrade? I would have more room and a nicer "looking" set up

Should I keep thinks how they are or do the changes I'd like to do? I would still have money left over after all of this too which I could use the extra $$ at the moment (therapy is expensive!!)


Edit: Forgot to add the only thing I do on my pc is gaming browsing and photo editing
