well i started preparing for folding month and finding out how many PPD i could get so i put my old 750ti in my computer with my 1070ti and my i7 5820k with a overclock and i was getting over 850000 PPD not too far off from 1000000 PPD
 
so i decided to go and see what my laptop will add and it got around 150000 PPD nice that puts me at 1000000 PPD 
 
i then went back over to my desktop and found it off i tried turning it on and it would not turn on i did some troubleshooting and it would seem that my 9+ year old custom panted antec 550w power supply is now dead may it rest in peace
(i was probably polling around 600w now that i think of it so maybe not my best idea)
 
well time to go shopping i think i will get Seasonic FOCUS Plus gold 850Watt but in the meantime i do have a backup that will work (and i have stopped my CPU from folding to cut back the power usage)

i have the asus x99-a/usb3.1 and love it
it is mostly white with some blue so it would fit the color you are looking at doing
now asus has come out with a updated x99-a the x99-a ii that was not out at the time i got mine so i would say go with that one

Thanks to everyone who participated. It was really really hard for me to pick out the winners and honestly if I had 30 monitors to give out myself I could have easily found 30 deserving people
 
I want to clarify a couple of points
 
1. I *DID* say the submission requirements may vary for the other YouTubers and I didn't judge anything longer than 30 seconds.
 
2. A huge thing for me was presenting your rig in an entertaining and creative way, so all of our top 25 entries have been watched by at least 2 members of our staff and by me at least 5x to ensure that it didn't just stand out to me the first time, but also after repeat viewing.
 
One of the reasons I don't run these contests more often is that there can only be so many winners and I hate seeing all of that work go into something in hopes of winning only to have it not happen, but if it helps at all I genuinely enjoyed watching all the entries and I plan to go through and re-watch a good number of them now that the stress of judging them is over.

ok i looked to see if there are any reports with coil whine on your card i found about 1-2 reports of the Pailt Jetstream 970 coil whining

it works but a 850W PSU is way over kill for that setup

Tried to find the one witht he guy blowing his toolbox off of a table, cause this video really doesn't do it justice with that rough table.

Oh and this guy puts 12 120mm delta fans in a baffle box, cause, you know...why not

Linus should do this in a vertical baffle box for the room cooling

Maybe Linus should consider something like this for his next full room cooling setup. Not sure you would be able to hang this out the window though...
