So. I am a middle school student, and the girl with the locker above mine is kinda cute, and nice, but not socially out of range. Being ultra-geek, I MUST CAPITALIZE!!! I am not looking to ask her out just yet (ultra-geek nerves, amirite? DX). How do I have a conversation with her that doesn't end after the first back and forth?

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

Is it that hard to talk to other humans nowadays? I mean you can just talk about anything that is related to you both, that usually invites interesting conversations.

Uh... the stalking part is kinda weird. Especially when she asks you how you know she likes Some obscure band. xD

This is pretty sound advise. Actively listen also you can catch interests so you can then start more conversations. Once in a while restate what she says in your own words so she knows you are doing your best to engage.

Make daily chit chat and eventually it will become normal for you two to chat. In these types of social environments people are based on a routine so becoming apart of that is important because when the time comes, you don't talk to her for a day or two and she will notice. This will make her WANT to talk to you. This is a good thing for women in general here because once you ignore them, it drives them crazy and they come to you.

 

I have great luck with this and not to float my own boat, never have a problem getting the girl I want.
