Need help choosing X99 motherboard

So in the near future I plan to build my first computer since I recently got my first job (I'm 14) and I plan to build a pretty high end X99/1080 system but I'm having trouble finding a motherboard suiting my needs. I'm planning on building with a white and light blue color scheme so when I saw Hardware Canucks recent video about the Gigabyte Designare EX

which fits my builds color scheme perfectly however there are a few problems. I have heard that gigabyte has a track record of bad consumer service and as a first time builder idk how much of a problem that could be. Also I don't really know if it is worth having to wait another 2 weeks (for another paycheck) to be able to purchase it since it is 100$ more than my original motherboard the MSI carbon pro

the only problem I see with this board is that of wifi which isn't much of a problem cause I plan to run a line to my room and also that its neutral black color scheme doesn't match as well as the other board however it does have rgb lighting so that is also not a huge issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance :)

i have the asus x99-a/usb3.1 and love it

it is mostly white with some blue so it would fit the color you are looking at doing

now asus has come out with a updated x99-a the x99-a ii that was not out at the time i got mine so i would say go with that one
