up the power supply wattage , no need to run a 400w power supply at max capacity unless you want to test how durable it really is

and yeah I said 400w becuase even the best power supplies on earth are about 50 watts optimistic 

looks god damn sexy, nice job, but i also have a s340 with fcfront x61 and the gpu really runs hot because of the oc'D cpu intake with the hot air in the case
 
PS: pls remove those ROG stickers, they look ugly in that scenario imo

True true. I'm getting a NZXT Kracken x62, So I'm sure I can OC high

Specs say you have:
- 1 x 4-pin CPU fan connector
- 1 x 4-pin system fan connector
- 1 x 3-pin system fan connector
 
so just hook up the Y splitter to the system fan connector.

It's a decent PSU It holds its 500w I stress it to see the wattage I think he will go with the 1050Ti

I overheard some of them talking about how CS:GO is running so much better on a 980 (when it came out) versus the 760... It runs on integrated graphics... How?

I actually went in for a 4K Bluray HTPC build for a client and asked for the best GPU and they suggested a 970 when the 750 Ti next to it would do a better job for less. Best Buy tech section is inept at best.

They just want money basically imo because the 970 would cost more

It's ultimately your call on a tradeoff: smoothness or resolution?
 
For competitive CSGO, 144Hz all day every day. Personally I see no point running it in anything higher than 1080p, especially if you're seeking to become more competitive.

I tried that years ago. Not a fun time. USB to video is ok for office work, but for gaming its simply too slow.

USB-VGA (assuming 2.0) doesn't have the bandwidth for a gaming load.

Just for your reference,
In Window 10 when at the log on screen or task bar, hold shift while clicking restart and it will take you to trouble shooting. From there you can choose safe mode.

If your playing in 1080p at 144Hz a 1070 will be good for you, but if you got the money go for the 1080 if you want

VRAM doesn't stack

0.o With 2 4GB 970's idk that could cut it

If you have 2 SLI 970's you can do 2k gaming
