As dimitri says if you have money go for sennheiser if you are budget consumer go for mh752 here it is.
-
Noirdrath reacted to Tigerleon in All-Rounder Headset
The little USB SOUNDCARD that comes with the MH752's not 751's is a great little DAC that is better than most onboards and the 7.1 button should be taken off.

Well good because HDR in PC space really needs more attention and work in general. Also monitors too.

I think we all have the same feelings towards this. HDR SUCKS in Windows. It needs a major overhaul!
Hey maybe this will be and update that comes with that overhaul... That would be cool 🙂

Yeah this comparison turns into ios vs android both team has really nice advantadges on their own but i couldnt decide between those advantages. Lot of people are defending mh's and the others defends sennheiser's i couldn't decided yet.

Sorry I thought you were tallking about the blackshark V2's. People usually call them V2's. Anyways. Yeah corsair as well.
Haha I guess it suits your case but wireless you get the expense of battery life, heavyness and can F up quality, it is not worth it.

Noirdrath reacted to Swinefludeth in Am4 backplate
Thank you very much sir. I may just try and locate a stock metal one if you think that's best
-
Noirdrath reacted to SupFlynn in All-Rounder Headset
Yeah you might be right but it is wireless so i gonna struggle with battery life i dont really want that. And as i see there is none v1 left all of those in the stocks are v2s.

Guys im looking for a headset around 120-150$(this can be discounted price) and i got gsp350 in my mind. Im looking for a really comfortable headset. In some days i gonna even use it for 12-15hours and it shouldnt feel any uncomfortable after those long use sessions. It should have really good build quality because im looking to use it for maybe even 6years but im enough satisfied with 4 years of use. I was thinking to pc37x but it is openback so im not sure about how much noise it gets from outside and how much noise it will give to outside. And i gonna use it for listening music too (my main genre is metal and rock this is my playlist in case you need). I gonna play forza horizon 4 and rust with it. And if you are able to send me record of pc37x i wanna know how much sound does it gives to environment. And if it is avaible on local germany stores it would make my work whole lotta easier.
In a conclusion i need a 120-150$ nice built and comfortable headset for gaming and listen to music.

Tip: Hold CTRL and double click on the image to resize it!
Well its not the STOCK am4 backplate, but it still fits the AM4 socket, so it should still work. Only thing i can think of that could f**k it up, is the threads. IDK if it uses the same threads on the nuts and screws as the stock AM4. Since you already have the AIO, just remove the backplate and see if the AIOs screws fit in the backplate.
If it doesnt fit, then you should be able to find an stock am4 backplate on the used market for a few bucks.

Given how terrible HDR is implemented into Windows currently I have my doubts that MS can make this work without making most games look worse than stock.

Noirdrath reacted to AlexGoesHigh in Xbox Auto HDR coming to PC, available now in preview in latest windows dev build.
The Xbox consoles for a while now have a feature called auto HDR that makes games that do not feature HDR be playable in HDR, although games running in auto HDR aren't as bright or dim as proper HDR mastered games, auto HDR makes a noticeable difference against normal SDR.
Microsoft is now bringing this feature to PC and is available in preview in the latest dev build of windows (21337), the objective for auto HDR is to be able to support over 1000 DX11 and DX12 games but at the moment only a few games work, DX10 and lower as well as OpenGL and Vulkan aren't supported by this feature.
Nice, this is one of the features from xbox that would have been nice to have and it's now coming, now if the ecosystem around PC HDR gets better with better HDR monitors and not so expensive monitors.

Noirdrath reacted to Master Disaster in Help me with my game server! Please.
1) Depends purely on what you want/need. For the use cases you mentioned I would say no, hypervisors add complexity to the networking side (since you need to create vlans, vswitches and subnets) and are great if you are looking to run multiple OSes on the same machine but unnecessary for general services. If you want to compartmentalise things look at docker.
2) Sure. Windows 10 is more than capable of handling the services you listed, Linux might be a better option but you can do it all with Windows and if that's what you're comfortable with then stick with it.
3) Loads. You can use RDC, Team Viewer or RealVNC for remote administration. VPN is the best option if you need local file access from a remote machine.
4) In your case I'd suggest mechanical over SSD. SSDs are great for rapid file access in small chunks but for storage and retrieval you won't really see any improvement. If you buy a 10G NIC you'll also need CAT6 cabling.
5) Sounds like it already fulfils all of your requirements, as long as you're happy its doing its job.
