Here's a small list of stings to try:
Use another mic port, if you have your headset plugged into one of the frontpanel connectors plug it into your motherboard directly and vice versa. If that helps, one of your mic ports is f'ed, or you just have to make sure that your front panel hd audio headers are plugged in all the way. Try your headset on another computer, maybe your headset itself has an issue Record yourself speaking with any generic recording program and listen back your recording. If you don't have any problems with the sound pickup there, your problem is with discord. If the third point is the case, look at the mic threshold slider. It shows what discord is hearing at any point, so maybe you just have to lower the threshold. Additionally, you can give discord network priority or, if nothing works, use push to talk and tape down the key. -

Wether or not it was faulty. But I looked around on the internet and I was not the only one who had bad experiences with this sites customer service. So I took my business elsewhere.
The site is called NetOnNet if you're wondering. Swedish electronics retailer. Avoid it if you're ever in Scandinavia.

Finally after two months of arguing with the retailer I got my money back for my faulty Radeon R9 Fury Strix and bought a new card

So I ordered a couple of GPUs for really cheap. I just want to see what they're still capable of in real world performance.
I only have an 860K right now. After I upgrade to a 1500X, I'll test them then, just to make sure there's no CPU bottlenecks
