X99stattrak got a reaction from Goldensapling in Rate These Two Builds? Power Supply Question?
A good quality 850W unit, or 1000w would be better for sli and oc'ing

Use the windows media creator (go to the Windows 10 upgrade site, and it'll have a link for people that want to do multiple computers. Make a bootable usb, and fresh install on your ssd. You can skip the activating part, because Windows already has your hardware known and will activate on its own

X99stattrak got a reaction from teo_d in 900-950$ gaming pc (first build)
I'm laughing at all of the Internet experts. I run an Antec Earthwatts 380W at a 300W load 24/7 and has been doing so for almost 6 months without a hitch. Sure it isn't quiet, but this is also 4-5 years old with a small fan. Power supplies aren't meant to be over killed on. Look at the 7 gamers system, he's pulling 15k something watts, and I guarantee that power supply is still basically silent, and happily chugging along.

Can you re-enable your IGPU, and try uninstalling all drivers, then letting window's do it automatically? -

That's your problem. You have an amd fail. The aio's won't preform much better at all. -

If you have a dark rock pro 3, you're not going to see much difference, and probably a sound increase. That's a beastly air cooler.
