Simba reacted to GzeroD in Can anyone suggest a better upgrade than this for the price? (And will I need a new power supply?)
less likely to set itself on fire so yes
Personally I would swap platform instead of upgrading the cpu.
if you don't want to swap out the whole mobo and cpu I would just beef up the cooling and get that 6300 to 4200-4600Mhz area and only upgrade the video card.

If you wana run ethernet cable to can pin it to the skirting or if the router and your pc is near a window. you can run the cable though the window. You can get flat ethernet cable.

OR
Home plugs are good and I got lots of friends who use them with no issues at all (In the UK like you.). They use your home wiring to make a connect to each other by plugging them in.

Linus shownig how to setup. Different product but same way.
Boot a Linux Live cd off a usb drive. and then test your issue on there. That way you can rule out Hardware issue.

Make sure you hold the can upside down when you spray it. It works better that way.

Simba got a reaction from Bittenfleax in What are the chances my Wireless Adapter is dead?
Sorry I didn't reply earlier but I only just got round to it. I managed to plug it into LAN and it worked fine with pings of 11ms when pinging google.com (way better than 255 right? )
I have ordered a similar adapter but this time by Asus rather than Edimax. Wish me luck!

Oxygen is highly flammable so it would do I don't actually know what they put in them but it should be safe that's pretty much what there designed for.

Simba got a reaction from Jamisbrill in Ram Speeds
Honestly not worth it according to Linus' video. Although I have 1600 RAM because it was on sale and cheaper than 1333.
