DaiGurenMK42 got a reaction from bmx6454 in Jio and Facebook to accelerate India’s $5 trillion economy push
    Summary
Facebook is accelerating it's push in Indian market to help transition small businesses to digital.

    My thoughts
Deals like this that are happening in African and Asian countries will affect the world and are important to pay attention to. Google, Microsoft and others are actively investing in developing markets. After Facebook purchased WhatsApp for industry record amounts, the plan to monetize it is being made true soon. WhatsApp usage started in India due to it's original ability to postpone sending messages until later like when access to data was possible. Since then it has skyrocketed.

Ahhh I think you've misunderstood. The FTC guidelines specify that any opinion I offer in a sponsored piece of content has to be consistent with my opinion if it was not sponsored.

So I can't say "this monitor is pretty sweet" if I actually think it's hairy-balls.

    You're assuming I haven't spoken to Jessa

I think collaborating with her in the future would be a blast and I've said as much, and I've expressed my desire to set the record straight and even change the sponsored video's content to reflect her allegations if she can provide evidence that proves them.

To be clear, I'm not saying that if she can't prove it that she's lying. I'm just saying that as long as it's "he said, she said" I can't render any sort of judgment.

I keep an eye on his stats since he uploads really consistently, making him an interesting test case for how YouTube is handling popular, but controversial content.

All I see is that 2B views are gone.

Depends on what you mean with "seamlessly".
Your device will switch over to the one with the strongest signal by itself (although it might have a bit of a delay), and you won't have to type in the password again, etc. But it will not be seamless as in "no packets will be dropped". It will be seamless as far as things like web browsing is concerned. You might drop a handful of packets when the switch occurs but that's about it. If you're in a VoIP call then you will notice a small cutoff.

In order to get "proper" seamless roaming between access points you need 802.11r support.
802.11r is a standard which allows two access points to exchange information, basically saying "hey, I have already authenticated this client, here is the encryption key you should use to talk to it". Without 802.11r support, your device will have to do the full 4-way handshake whenever it switches over to the new access point, and that's when you will have some minor packet drops.

You're throwing around baseless statements as if they are fact. You shouldn't.

That was supposed to be the lesson in this video.

There was no letter or other communication. Just the tweet from Tim Sweeney we showed in the video. I was completely transparent about the whole situation.

I can't find anything on it that obviously contains storage. The two horizontally marked ICs are TI - so some kind of processor, presumably. The vertically mounted one is unmarked so God only knows what it is.

The following suggestions have been proposed numerous times, but are not planned, and we are not looking for feedback on these issues at this time:
    A forum app
Due to limited resources available, and the functional mobile site, there are no plans to develop an app for the site at this time. Allow members to delete or lock their own posts
If you would like something to be removed, please report it, and it will be removed by a moderator. However, a significant number of the deletion requests that we get are because the topic is solved, which is not a valid reason for deletion - by leaving the topic, it can help other people in the future. Dislike/disagree button
If you disagree with a post, you should quote it and explain why you feel the post is incorrect, so that people can see both sides of the argument, and make their own decision, rather than simply seeing that someone doesn't think the post is correct without any context. Require all posts from new users to be manually approved by a moderator/block all non-latin characters/don't allow links in new members' posts (to prevent spam)
There are far too many posts for manual approval to be remotely feasible, and the other suggestions would adversely affect legitimate content too. We have a number of spam filtering systems in place, so the vast majority of the spam is caught before it is posted. View/edit the BBCode for a post
Posts don't use BBCode internally any more, so adding support for it would be very complicated, and would cause more problems than it would solve. Add a "use desktop site" button on mobile
Due to the way the mobile version has been implemented, it isn't technically possible. However, if there is anything that you can't do on the mobile site, please let us know so that we can try to change it, so you don't need to use the desktop version. New topics discussing these issues will be locked without warning.

This results in 76TB of raw capacity, and ~64TB of usable when configured with a single 12TB parity drive in Unraid.

    Software and Configuration:
The server is running Unraid because of it's flexibility in terms of the drives installed and excellent data resilience.
I have the array configured with 1 of the 12TB drives as parity, giving me ~64 TB of usable capacity.

    Usage:
    - Backup server for all the devices in my house, and for some friends.
    - Runs VMs for Hass.io, Unifi Controller, and some Linux test environments.
    - Media (Plex server)

    Backup:
The entire array is backed up to Google drive weekly via rclone (I have a gigabit connection)

We have visited most of our factories to check in on the conditions and we will be making trips to China as time permits to hit the other ones and continue to check in.

Frankly speaking, one was on the edge of what we'd consider acceptable and we are looking for an alternate supplier. The rest were definitely OK and we are comfortable continuing to work with those suppliers.

Right now it's a very small business unit for us (1000s of units per month vs.10s of thousands) We haven't grown to the point where we are ready to follow our supply chain all the way through to where the factories procure their raw fabric/dyes/tooling/etc but it's something we're cognizant of and we will strive to improve as we ramp up our scale.

Might not be the most amazing answer.. I'd love to say "yes all of our merch is made by disabled veterans being paid 3x the going industry rate", but it's the honest one.
