I just ran Fire Strike for the first time and scored 15137 with a i7 4790k and 1 EVGA GTX 980 Ti Classfied at stock clock speeds. Your score is what I would of expected form an i5 4690k and 2 970's

Both are fantastic cases but i feel the Evolv does the same on a smaller footprint. Also, I'm shallow and i LOVE how the Evolv looks, maybe my favorite case right now. And the airflow is stellar.

Watch this video of the Gigabyte G1 GAMING GTX 980 Ti WindForce Graphics Card. There is a noise level comparison against the gtx 980ti reference, GTX 980 Ti Gigabyte G1 and the titan x which should help you

    Case:
I would take a good look into whether you actually need a full size tower. There is a massive array of mid size tower which would be more suitable for this build. You will need to decide whether you want a airflow optimized case or one more aimed for silence. However if you did go for a mid size tower you may find the H110 CPU cooler is to large so look at the H100i GTX or something similar to that.

    Mid Tower Case:
NZXT H440 (quiet case, still has a window)
    Corsair 450D
NZXT Noctis 450 (optimized for airflow)
    Fractal Design Define S

Thank you for such a detailed reply this really does help and give me more confidence especially as it's my first build.

I will take another at the motherboard, as you said its almost identical to the Maximus VII Hero, it just whether I think the armor justifies the price. I'm still reading through GPU reviews and another option could be the Kingpin however its more money but if you want the ultimate 980 then its the one to get. Again its down to whether I will get the most out of it.

CPU: Great CPU, but if you are on budget, an i5 will function just as well for gaming. Not as well for tasks that require hyperthreading though. Not bad at those tasks, but not exceptionally ground breaking on them either.
CPU Cooler: Famous cooler, Corsair makes some good AIO's, so good choice there. Keep in mind that they're not the quietest most of the time.
Mobo: I like overkill mobo's. As well as you apparently, because s*** that is overkill. This one is overpriced though. When set against the Maximus VII Hero, they end up almost identical. So unless you REALLY care about the armor plate, I would switch it (As @Yeater recommended).
Storage (SSD): Samsung is well known, but sometimes Crucial ends up being a better choice (as @Aytex recommended).Storage (HDD): Western Digital is known for not breaking! And not breaking is the main thing that an HDD can be good at. Cause the only reason they exist nowadays because they are cheap . Back to your choice: Blacks are good, but not too much better than Blues. If you save 50% of the money when getting a Blue, go Blue.

Video Card: One of the best Team Green cards, made by a good manufacturer. Most of the time though, Asus focuses more on low power consumption and silence, to the cost of Overclocking room (this MAY be different with their 980's, take a look at the reviews).
Case: Aesthetic freak, eh? NZXT makes great cases if all the reviews are correct. And the Noctis is damned sexy, and not crazy expensive. I don't know the reviews though, but seeing it's NZXT gives confidence that it's good!
PSU: Corsair is big on the marker of PSU's. While not focusing on silence, it does focus on a really sexy 80+ Platinum. Seems great, especially seeing it's from their high end AX series.
OS: I'm a Windows 7 fanboy, but 8.1 seems okay. This is personal preference.
Fans: Beliebers, Directioners... Oh not those kind of fans?Corsair fans are well known trough the country for their performance and not overexpensive prices. Do keep in mind that Corsair will ALWAYS sacrifice silence to get the best performance. Not necessarily a bad thing for aircooled systems, though!

Conclusion: it's great. Good job on it!

EDIT: Also, thanks for including PCPartPicker. Helps us out a lot!

Depends if you want silence.  The RM is untouchable for silence.  There are several other offerings with zero rpm fan mode but when you do some digging none quite stack up to be as quiet as the RM.  However there is all this concern over where the capacitors in the RM on the secondary side were made.....

After a mind boggling amount of research and a huge number of conversations including one with Jonny Guru himself I came to the following conclusions.

    1)  The RM series is untouchable for silence and its power delivery is fine.

    2)  There are other offerings in the RM's price range that provide better power delivery and longer warranty (albeit not as quiet).

    3)  If you want the best of both worlds (silence and quality components) get the Corsair HXi .  It has unimpeachable components and power delivery and Jonny Guru himself said it is as quiet as the RM series.  It costs a bit more though but not much.

It's not a bad unit, and whether you should get it or not is a matter of pricing. If you can get it on sale or the region you in has it at a very good price, then it is certainly a viable option.

Basically, to give you any proper advice on what you should go with, you should provide your budget, links to stores that you are able to buy from, and your system specification.

Pretty much any decent 750W psu has smart fan management. Some, like several Seasonic & EVGA models, even have a hybrid mode that lets the user decide on zero fan spin at low loads or low rpm. Low rpm has the advantage of keeping the psu cooler while still being nearly silent.

RM series psu have been criticized by many reviewers for their lower component quality.

An i7-5820K will do a better job handling 3D modeling tasks.

Do not get an RM-750 psu. The EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR is generally less expensive and vastly better. Individually sleeved cables are available from EVGA and other sources.

Higher speed memory will not make a noticeable difference in performance, especially in gaming.

WD Green drives are not really suitable as main storage drives. Consider other WD models or Seagate Barracuda.
