Growing up, I usually wasn't watching those kids shows on nickelodeon, cartoon network, or even Adult Swim. I was watching things that were on the science channel, such as "How it's made", and this "Mythbusters." But that was years ago, I've become busy and have lost interest in the show, I do although watch every then and now, since I follow their facebook page, as well as on instagram. It's quite sad that they're going to be ending the show, but I suppose for the time that it was up, a good 13 years, it was fun.

plugged into a power strip, hit the switch on that. Unexpected power loss wrecked the whole thing, my ssd broke, went through three SSDs but still experiencing the error, figured it has to be the mobo now as it can't be anything else.
Well, this build log is gonna be a long one, as I'm below the legal working age and am relying solely on my allowance and holiday money. Here's the parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Mg3XWZAs you can see, my goal is tiny, but powerful within reason. I could've made it better, but I'm on a budget. Maybe I'll upgrade later. First update! I just bought the graphics card. I should be here Wednesday, 1/14/15. I'll post pictures then. Second Update: Graphics card is here, just on time! 2 1/2 Update: Pics working! Here's the graphics card!
Update three: Just bought the RAM. Pics upon arrival. Update four: Sorry, totally forgot about pics! Those will be coming soon. Anyways, ordered mobo and it will be here in about a week. Pics on arrival, for realsies this time! Update 5: Pics of ram:
Update 6: Motherboard will be here "by end of day Friday". Ya right...(mini-edit 6.5 it actually was...) Update 7: Mobo pic!
I got a request to see pics of the system, so here's what I have, all put together.

It seems almost everything is actually rendered in 1080p and then upscaled to 4k and this should according to Sony give the 2 day battery life. What do you guys think? is this a good or bad move/idea?
I read some reviews about the 128Mb edram of 5775c. However Broadwell doesn't overclock as well as Devil's Canyon and Skylake K CPUs in general. 5775c may have advantage in some scenario. Skylake will win in others. 1 or 2 FPS difference in games in either ways really shouldn't be a deal breaker when you think about long term.
All else being equal. I'd prefer a newer platform for longer term use. Z170 has far more bandwidth for storage. It'll become handy with super fast M.2 SSDs when the price comes down more. Also the USB3.1 and type c for future proofing.
New build, get the Skylake.
There's no reason to buy Haswell for a new build, Skylake is so close in price to Haswell you may as well get the newer platform.
There is a screenshot attached, that shows the parts, but the case and replacement fans(replacing the 140mm fans with red LED fans in the corsair obsidian 450d). Please tell me if this build is good, and see if you can get a better build for 11500₪(shekels) or 12000₪ if you are getting a case too. I want a black/red themed build, and this is the only store I can buy from.
http://en.ksp.co.il/?
I am going to use this system to do a lot of gaming in 1080p(maybe 1440p, or a bit 4k DSR), streaming and video editing. I also need future proofness(if that's even a word).
Hey guys! I recently made a PSU/hard drive cover/shroud, and I wanted to share it with everyone, as well as tell you how I did it so maybe some of you can make one too. It is actually really simple, and it only cost me around $20 total. This price will differ depending on where you live.
What you will need:
> Sheet of thin metal
> Spray paint for metal surfaces (choose your color scheme)
> Painters tape (choose your sizes/design)
> Ruler
> Sand paper
How to:
Step 1. Go to your local hardware store and buy all of the materials you need. While you're there, have them bend and cut a sheet of thin metal following the measurements you made. Rub the outer surface of the metal with fine sand paper to help the paint adhere.
Step 2. Clean off the surface of the metal and apply your first layer of paint. The color you choose will later be the contrast color of the completed piece. Spray the paint on very lightly and go slow. Rushing it will only cause your final piece to not turn out as nice. Do about 6 passes then let it dry for 4-5 hours (depending on the outside temperature; hotter air dries it faster.)
Step 3. After the first coat it fully dried (I waited a whole night, just let it sit in the house,) check if the paint is see through. You might need to do another coat of that color if it isn't thick enough. If it IS thick enough, and dry, tape off the design you want. You can see mine at the bottom of this post.
Step 4. Apply your second coat of paint. This color will be the main color of the piece, unless of course you are doing more than 2 coats, which in that case just repeat step 2. Let this coat completely dry and cure a little bit (about a day) and then peel off the tape. Now you should have a nice clean line around your design, and it will look great if you did it properly!
Step 5. Put the finished shroud in place in your PC. You can use sticky side velco to fasten it, or just place it in there tightly like I did. Now you have a sharp looking shroud to boost the aesthetics of your rig as well as hide any cables or drives.
Step 6. Take some nice pictures and post them in this thread!
Here is my before and after shots!
BEFORE

Thanks for checking out my simple PSU shroud "how-to!"
fret not. Its so overpriced that it isnt worth it by any means.
Unless you buy a broadwell CPU as part of a laptop or NUC, just dont. The price for hte standalone CPU chip is like the price of the 7870k + mobo + ram and depending on offers, sometimes you can chip a hyper 212 into the mix too before reaching broadwell prices... At that point, youd gotten most of a computer that will perform 20% worse (but you can OC the GPU on the AMD APU to regain some of that performance gap), but at nearly 200 USD total price less.
