Hammer or snip snip. Make yourself a comfy support bracket with the front fan mount. You might not be able to use the factory fans though if you can't space them apart enough for the GPU to fit between them. I do this with my Fractal Design North and my RTX 4090, but there's enough room to where its not a spacing issue, more of an airflow advantage not having a fan blocked by the GPU cooler.

IMO this is not a problem.  They did tell us ahead of time

Many people, myself included, hit skip and forgot all about it.

This, is an issue. These people should get a refund from Sony, but Steam will probably step in.

TVwazhere reacted to nvhgamer in Helldivers 2 requires PSN account linking and creates a lot of backlash
    Summary
Sony has mandated that PC players of "Helldivers 2" link their PlayStation Network (PSN) accounts to continue playing. This requirement, which becomes effective later this month, has led to significant uproar within the gaming community. The backlash has been fueled not only by the mandatory account linkage but also by Sony's refusal to offer refunds to those affected, which has intensified the community's frustration.

Additionally, a controversial comment made by the game's Community Manager, Spitz, during a PirateSoftware stream has further stirred discontent.

    My thoughts
This new policy harms both the community and the integrity of multiplayer gaming. It's unfair and problematic to force players to link their accounts and reveal (additional) personal information post-purchase. The fact that many players can't even create or link a PSN account due to geographic restrictions compounds the issue, effectively barring them from accessing a game they've already bought. This frustration is amplified by the fact that "Helldivers 2" fundamentally does not require a PSN account to operate.

    Yeah, actually I am.

Just because he's installed the Vertical mounted bracket here, doesnt mean it actually allows the display cables to pass through it

And while this PC seems to have been ditched only a few months later for an all white aesthetic build (he mentions this in his early 2024 studio tour), it's otherwise never show in it's "on" state in any video since this. Perhaps he got lucky with cable / port placement on his GPU and just hated the aesthetic of it turned on, but most users will not be so lucky.

Honestly this just smells of an Ad video, which is fine; it's just important to keep in mind for people who blindly think this mount will guaranteed wort with any case even if there's cross braces.

You gonna be cutting those out with a metal snippers or tools like dremel with side metal cutter disk. Either way, case modifications will come up looking like shit unless you are experienced.

This depends on what type of 3D model software you're using. Blender and Maya are both very GPU intensive applications, but 2D programs like AutoCAD, or 3D parasolid programs like TinkerCAD, sketchup, Fusion 360 or Solidworks are very CPU bound (specifically high IPC, high frequency single core).

So the way I use my 7950x3D and probably how most people use them is as a 7600x3D or 7800x3D with an extra 8 cores on standby. CPPC in cache forces CCD0 to do foreground tasks, where I'll see light usage on CCD1 likely handling background. Having the extra ~700MHz available from CCD1 is cool and all, but I don't think its worth the downsides. That can be circumvented with Processor Affinity settings in Task Manager anyways for the instances where it does matter for single threaded processes.

It doesn't fully park CCD1 but as long as CCD0 can handle that application within its 8c/16t, then it won't spill over into CCD1. 7900x3D runs into the problem where its only operating at 4.4-4.9GHz under a heavy load with 6ct/12t that just isn't enough for heavily ray traced titles that sometimes need more than even 8c/16t.

My suspicion is that CCD0 will operate at 5.25GHz all core with direct die. It might also be enough of a boost in multicore to prevent spillover, even with 6c/12t. I can test that with my 7950x3D if it survives.

Look for a Power On setting. Usually can be set to "On" "Off" or "Last State." You want preferably "Last State" or "On" to have the system come back up after a Power Failure. And/or, if you have a UPS, see my UPS Howto in my Sig. to set your UPS to suspend Folding while on battery.
All my Gigabyte x300-x500 motherboards and my latest Asus x670e Motherboard have it.
