    Id like to speak from experience here, I dont know about mantle, but I have an 8350 with crossfire 7970s, in bf3 I had such a huge cpu bottleneck that my friend with a 3570k always had better fps than me when running a single 7970. I think mantle will help with the gpu but I dont know so much about the cpu. I am going to be upgrading to a 4770k here in the next week or so for bf4

    when I was showing my friend my future 7970 im getting for my new build and hes trying to ask about its performance and hes asking how many pixels it has. What does that even mean....  :mellow:

    I'm sure the place you bought them from will have packaged them properly, it's in their best interest because if they arrive DOA then they have to pay for them.

    You will have no problem running that cable at 1080p. Anything higher and you will need a dual link DVI cable. The dual link just has a higher bandwidth :)

    humans have difficulty tracking acceleration because our eyes adapted for following objects. So if you try to pan your eyes across a landscape like a camera your eyes will jump and wont be smooth, but if something were to fly across the landscape you could smoothly track it. grab a camera and watch you eyes move, its pretty awesome!
