As silly as this seems, can we please keep in mind that Razer sells a mousepad for $60?
Also, this doesn't work on cases without a metal front (like any case Phanteks makes. )

You might try out the G602 for the mouse.
Are you also looking for wireless headphones?

The G602 is very similar to the G502, which is the mouse I now use after my deathadder broke.
I have very large hands and use a palm grip, and the G502 is perfect for me, as was my deathadder.
A lot of stores (Frys, Best Buy, etc) will have mice out to try, and the G502 and G602 are very common.
As for headphones, I have a pair of Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrums, and, while they are expensive, I find them to be very nice. They do not have amazing sound quality (it's ok really), but they are durable and have a ton of features, and I have coverage of my entire house with it. Avoid the G930s, as they are built like crap.

Stardar1 got a reaction from honor in Budget Gaming Build, Looking for Help
The Pentium G4560 performs almost identically to that i3 for about $50 less.
Other than that, looks good, though I might try to spend a little less on the case if your budget is that tight.

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:
Solitaire.

Or Minesweeper. It may be a bit too demanding though.

Stardar1 got a reaction from PCGuy_5960 in Need GPU for this build
the 1080 looked like a better deal to me, especially considering that i dont plan on doing VR anytime soon.
The ASUS 1080 looked nice, but I was wondering how it stacked up to options from EVGA, or to the MSI Sea Hawk X.

One more suggestion before I go.
You don't want the cheapest 1080 you can find. You want good power fase design and 8+8 pin config. It will help you with consistency of the clock speed and GPU will thank you in the long run. Cooling isn't a problem as long as it's not a refrence design and usually higher tier 1080s have great cooling.

Yeah, although wouldn't it be unsupported by Nvidia? (I have absolutely no bloody idea what I'm talking about lol)

$2 more for the FTW card is definitely worth it

Stardar1 got a reaction from EunSoo in Power req for 1070 sli?
No.
Most 1070s recommend a 600W for a PC with one. For 2 I'd get a 750W minimum.

Fridges already have detectors for when they open to turn on lights (usually a button that gets pushed when the door is closed)
if you are comfortable taking that apart, you could just use that trigger.

Stardar1 got a reaction from ZackCodesAI in FX 8120 - Overheat
2 things:
1. 75 degrees C is not overheating, my i5 gets up to 80 under load.
2. It's an old CPU (not to mention that it's an FX), so high load and heat should be expected.

Stardar1 got a reaction from Gram in Does 4k@60Htz or 1440@144Htz need more GPU power? (#OutOfIdeas)
in a game like CS:GO, 4K would probably need more GPU power.
Civ... not sure.
Either way, if those are the hardest games you'd be playing a GTX 1080 would easily handle either.
