This build involves buying the new Kraken to sync with my Hue Plus, and specifically avoiding lights on the other components. The only problem with this is the radiators. The Kraken (280) will go on the top of the case, and the 1080 Sea Hawk (120) will go on the rear, which will severely decrease airflow in the case. The benefits of this is that it has a liquid cooled GPU. Later I could add NZXT's AER RGB Fans to sync with the lights

This build involves giving my Hue Plus to a friend and switching everything over to ASUS Aura Sync. The only problem here is that I am unsure as to the quality of the Thermaltake cooler. Later I could add BitFenix's Alchemy 2.0 RGB strips to sync with ASUS's lights.

I am trying to avoid lights that I cannot sync with eachother, and AFAIK no software exists that can sync CAM with ASUS Aura.

I already have the CPU, so Z270 or Z170 will both be fine because it's skylake.

Thanks

Well, I already have the Hue Plus, so I wouldn't have to spend extra money on Aura Sync RGB Strips, but at the same time the newer chipset and RGB RAM are nice.

Also, not sure how the airflow will be with 2 rads in the back-top and top-rear of the case.

Newer chipset isn't worth it unless you want to by choice.

Since you're using rads, it shouldn't be an issue since you'll only need an intake at the front to balance it out.

Right, but the GPU is a hybrid cooler, so it still needs some airflow, as do the motherboard chipsets and M.2 SSD.

The large fan at the front will provide more than enough airflow for the M.2 and chipset since they're both capable of being passively cooled.

I can also throw fans on the HDD cages to add more pressure.

The other build though... 360MM Rad... IDK, even if the rads don't present problems, it's still a hard choice.

Also NZXT CAM is a piece of shit, so that plays a part

So, you're leaning more towards the 2nd build? We can talk all day, but if you've found the best choice and are second-guessing yourself, just go for it.

I mean, both are really good choices, it really depends on the quality of the specific components.

If the software for CAM is bad, I'd steer clear. Also, are you sure that the Enthoo can take a 360mm radiator? Have you considered custom loop? You can get a 240mm rad for the CPU and that open-air Strix and still wind up with great thermals.

The enthoo pro can handle up to a 420 on top.

Al;so, me and custom cooling... hahahahahahhaha NO
