Naughty Dog I can consider masters of the craft, both technically and from a gameplay/story perspective (Tomb Raider even takes a number of elements). Even on PS3, they've gotten advanced effects like SSAO running with very few framerate hitches, while the DoF implementation is just about perfect for adding grandeur to a scene.
 
Even going back as far as the PS2 days, the facial animation and detail they could pull off was truly top notch, though the story telling was obviously in it's rough stages then. Their newer games tells me they definitely learned from past missteps though.
 
Wish they would get into PC development too. Uncharted is undoubtedly Sony's, however, I'd like to see a new multi-plat series from them.

Did they threaten the girls doing the gig? Did they not have a choice about what they did at the event? Can they not decide for themselves what their standards are? Do they not have the mental capacity or integrity to stand up for themselves? If they were so concerned about being put in that position, they should have just not gone and MS would not have had them wearing revealing clothes in the first place. That was their decision. If they need others to stand up for them, then it's no wonder how they were convinced to dress up like that.

Edge is actually a way better 'browser' than chrome but there's one thing preventing me from using it!! Chrome is so unified with everything all bookmarks get saved I can use them and see them on phone and other Android devices like it's so essential to have google connectivity at all times for me and sadly edge can't do that.... Unless there's an extension for that which I'm hoping for and I'll drop chrome easily.

We've been seeing a lot of teases of the fury x2 recently, and there have been a couple spots of Polaris on Zauba as well as other places. Unfortunately, though, we haven't really gotten to learn much about Polaris and the furyx2. 
Well, tomorrow we may finally learn some more information about em.
As you can see, tomorrow RTG will be hosting an AMA on Reddit, and will be answering (nearly) all of your dying questions about the Furyx2, Polaris, Dx12, VR, GPUOpen, and anything else you can think of related to GPUs.
Unfortunately, they won't be talking about Zen, but that was probably expected since its RTG we're talking about, not the whole of AMD.
Tomorrow could be the day we learn more about everything we already know about, and perhaps find out about a few new things.
I hope this AMA will help us glean some more info about RTG's upcoming products and future plans.
I will keep this thread updated with new info as it comes out .

Polaris will have DP 1.3 Apparently Polaris will launch during "mid-year" It seems that AMD will publish a lot of info about Polaris before the launch AMD is looking into the one GPU per eye thing for VR AMD is making drivers for Linux True Audio is still used in the console space, but on desktop it's kinda dying There will be another AMA for Polaris once its details are all ready Polaris support h.265 decode and can decode up to 4k Polaris will only be 14nm Glofo Polaris is projected to have 2x performance per watt to "existing hardware" That's all for now folks! I'll keep updating it. Unfortunately, it doesn't look we'll learn too much about the Fury X2 or extreme details of Polaris.
 
Unfortunately, guys, it doesn't seem like we got as much info as we wish we did. He did, however, mention that as we get closer to the Polaris release time he will do another AMA to clear up a bit on architectural details. That will probably be the time when we really learn something.
I was excited for this, but it wasn't QUITE as good as I hoped for. Then again I was only hoping.

Turn 10 Studios has announced that Forza Motorsport 6 is coming to PC (Windows 10 exclusive of course, what did you expect?) as a free-to-play game.
 
It's a little different from the original game on Xbox One.

At launch, there will feature 12 themed racing events, more than 60 cars, and a new objective system, which challenges players to complete specific, skill-based tasks for additional in-game currency.

Yes, you earn in-game currency to purchase cars and presumably tracks. Or you can buy them with real money.

Looks like MS is looking at PC as more of a free-to-play model with this and Fable: Legends. Makes sense since it's a low barrier of entry.

I´m hyped for that. But I would rather prefer a normal release, just like on Xbox One, with actually paying for it. I have a slight feeling, that "free-to-play" this time really is "pay-to-win"...

So basicly they claim PS4 VR will be 60% faster than a pc with same component , they are telling the truth imo.
But 60% faster than a crappy computer is still 200% slower than a good pc.

What will you be getting ? I want 1070 (hopefully a 4gb card and not 3.5).

Rise of the Tomb Raider already needs more than 4GB vram for highest texture setting. I would never buy a 14/16nm card with only 4GB.

I dont play with consoles and I never intend to but I think it's a very good thing to do. I remember back in the Playstation days, I had to buy FF7 on console and then on PC when it got out because my cousin bricked my playstation. I was 12 and it sucked. It might actually make the windows store worth using now.
