AMD: More Power Consumption, but 8 cores...
Intel i5: Less Power Consumption, more expensive, but only 4 cores...
I would go with AMD, I went with a intel i3 (because I wasn't thinking) because it used less power...
it all depends on your needs.

P.S - You can upgrade any system...

Ah, well, i obviously assumed you are getting it all new

You can preorder some of the new big monitors from overclockers.co.uk
but that store is pretty overpriced by default, i hear... better to just wait till there is proper stock available

Both those LG monitors are out by the end of the month. Or at least should be. You can preorder the 500eur one in UK already.

You are free to waste money on the i7 cpu of course, but it wont do a single frame more than an i5. Hyperthreading is a feature that 1 in 20 games use, and the FPS gains from CPUS are usually seen below 1080p resolutions anyway.
Also, you want watercooling and wont overclock anyway? Wow...  dont get me wrong, overclocking is not worth it price/performance wise already, but this is wow. And you say monitor is too expensive for you...

Also, there is no futureproofing in internal PC components. Monitors, Mice, Sound systems - yes, not pc insides.

But ok, do what you gona just dont get a 60hz TN garbage monitor for a overkill rig... thats just shameful - skimping out on the part you will actually be looking at.

They're fine, but for such a high-powered rig you should probably look for something a little larger/better. Any monitor is really fine for gaming, it doesn't make a huge impact unless you use a TV with like 500ms of latency.

Sony Entertainment CEO Michael Lynton, denying that the studio had "caved" by scrapping next week's opening of "The Interview," fired back Friday after President Obama said the studio had "made a mistake."
In an interview with CNN's Fareed Zakaria, Lynton also reopened the door to a future release of the controversial comedy, saying the company is considering some sort of release on the Internet.

Not really news i dont think just cute I thought its awsome work thought

Derby the dog got 3D-printed paw prosthethics, now watch

Derby was born with deformations in both of his front legs, making movement and any kind of speed difficult, if not impossible. Now, he can run. The husky mix was fitted out with two prosthetics, custom-made on 3D sculpting software to fit his forearms. With some help from 3D Systems and several iterations later, and the curved prosthetics you see above became the final build. "The great thing about using 3D technology in Derby's case, is having these images on file on a computer, and being able to print them. [it] is a lot quicker than having to hand sculpt every single mold and rebuild these braces five to ten times," explained Kevin Atkins, 3D Systems' Freeform Product Manager. The team settled on these curved designs because there was the fear that more pointed iterations (like running blades seen on humans) would get caught in softer ground
