I've been using it as a daily driver for a month or two now and it works beautifully. There are a few issues with the GUI here and there, but it's nothing severe. Hopefully when version .3 "Freya" gets here it will be just as fast and a little more fluid.

I personally hate the idea. Why would I want to carry around a screen AND a controller? Can you imagine how awkward it would be to have the screen on your lap and then hold the controller? If I already need to put down a screen to game, I might as well just bring my laptop or something. I liked the original shield form factor much better.

I'll back up Xubuntu on this one. With about 5 minutes of tweaking, I was able to achieve a pretty close Windows look-a-like. And even with all of my crap (5GB of PCSX images, 3GB of music, and about 400MB of wallpapers) I still have yet to hit 20GB on my SSD. But this is with my netbook, so PS1 emulators are pretty much the only game this thing gets to play.

My bad then, but I really hate to speculate on performance, it's not as simple as like choosing parts that go well together and I really don't want to tell bad information, we need benchmarks.

So you'd rather drive a Skoda Fabia even if you could afford a VW Golf or an Audi A3?
 
 
I call BS. $600 won't buy you a halfway decent PC with a "good monitor" and even if you could pull it off, it would probably look craptastic. Also, don't forget that a Mac will come with a copy of their latest OS, a keyboard and a magic mouse. Free shipping, too.

It worries me that this is happening. The western culture has become quite degenerate in the last few years. A huge push for recreational drugs and more over sexualisation of stuff.
 
I dont mind that people are gay, but I find the whole gay 'pride' events quite sickening. I used to live in a city (Manchester) that has a gay pride event. It consisted of men walking around essentialy naked, wearing the tightest underwear that they can find. I dont mind gay people, but that degenerate part of 'gay culture' needs to go, and I think thats why a lot of people have an issue with it.
 
 
Also, I dont think its right to lable somebody homophobic because thye dont agree that gay people should be allowed to get married. Its like calling people who are apposed to immigration racist. Its just dumb and stops and meaningful debate from happening.

If you want brown switches with o-rings, the Logitech G710+ is a great option! I have typed on it in best buy and it is super quiet.
