We hear quite often these days of developers and gamers complaining games aren't optimized for graphics hardware for AMD/Nvidia or are choking at the CPU whether by terrible single threaded implementation or by bad multithreaded code. In reality it's not very difficult to optimize C++ code, and game developers should frankly be ashamed they hide behind the excuses they currently give. Here I have supplied a rudimentary program which may not appear to be very useful or worthwhile to the average r

Honestly, at this point LTT has gotten a bit boring. For some reason, people seem generaly annoyed and start arguing faster than before. It isint as welcoming as before.
A lot of firnds have been banned or leaving, very sad experiance overall.
The quality of members has gone WAYYYYYYYYYYYY done...
The COC feels a lot more strict.
People dont listen to mods.

Hi!
I'm in the video industry and I'm planning to build my own pc! Right now I have an old iMac with 4gb of ram and an i5 processor so I just need a bit more power.
I have a 1500$ budget for the computer (not including the monitors).
What do you recommend me?

Welcome to my first blog guys :)
If you've viewed my profile already, you may have seen that I'm a college student majoring for video game design. But that also doesn't come with any obstacles that aren't easy to overcome. I need to be able to get the things needed to get my associates degree with a budget of ~$5,700.
When I was thinking about "what tools do I really need to make this time swift and easy and that they'll last for a very long time?" When I was looking around on Amazon, I knew

Linus should build an enthusiast grade PC. One with two Radeon r9 295x2 in crossfire and 2 gtx titan's in SLI. I would like to know if it is possible. I know Linus showed crossfire and SLI in the same PC before but with the highest rated performance products. Perhaps with the fun money budget when it comes around. I would like to see this PC build guide and am interested in see the finished product in action. If at all possible, hopefully Linus can get around to do it.
It may come as a shock to some that just over 15 years ago CPUs only had a single core, and running 2 threads on one core simultaneously was just an infant of an idea. Nowadays dual-core chips are practically ubiquitous as the minimum across the civilized world. Even so, to this day most consumer software runs using a single thread and only the oldest of instruction sets for a target platform. There are reasons for this, such as making software which can be sold to the most people with a reliabl

The next computer I was going to build was an AMD 760K Richland Quad-Cord processor. I've changed my mine and am going to pick up a Intel i5. Still looking into it more but so far the seems to be my best choice. You may be asking yourself why the change? The answer is kind of stupid to be honest. I just want to try Intel for a change. I've seen many AMD builds from my friends and other people, and I hear great things from both. Switching it up just makes sense.
