What Is All This Nonsense?

Disclaimer: Okay, I am not an expert modder. In fact, this is my first endeavor into the trade so I would love to get some help from the community. Which is the whole reason that I made this blog. It is not, in any way, a guide. So with that out of the way, I'll start going into my plan so far. Quick Overview: Woodwork: Going for MDF over plywood was my first major choice as it will affect the budget for the rest of my build. My local builders merchant had a special so I grabbed a 2.5m by 1

VLC for Android... Oh how crap you are...

So... I just figured out why my higher-end phone (than the Alcatel One Touch 5021e) won't play 720p... It was the fault of f*cking VLC... Yes gents, VL f*cking C... I enabled full hardware aceeleration and my vids won't play properly... So I went and said f*ck it and got MXPlayer instead... Now it plays properly... The thing with VLC is that it apparently uses software decoding even if you tell it to use hardware decoding... not sure why... So yeah... don't get VLC for playback and go get M

Kantai Collection anime released (and hype)

I just completed watching episode 1 of Kantai Collection (more info here)... The animation was beautiful, but leaves much most of the cast (the source material has over 150 characters) off-screen or in cameos... The story revolves around Fubuki as she joins the fleet as a newbie... A comment that I can make on how the anime handled this is that the supposed admiral/commander of the fleet is a shitty admiral... He sent off a level 1 ship to an event map (the enemies that appeared match that of

Schools should adopt more into NFC.

Schools should consider adopting NFC-oriented ways of making payments. NFC, or near-field communication, is an intuitive technology that allows you to use your mobile device for specific purposes and is, as it turns out, quite easy. NFC is rather easy to use. When two devices are near each other, a prompt pops up, suggesting various options. A suggested function is depositing or receiving money. If schools start to integrate NFC into their ecosystem, school life would be more efficient. Student

The opening... sort of...

So... yeah... I decided to get started on blogging here... Not sure if it's just the effect of boredom or caffeine overdose... Stay tuned for more posts... and while we're here... I might be feeling the downsides of AMD with Watch_Dogs... Can't get it to go consistent 45fps at 720p high (HBAO, Temporal SMAA)... It might just be the crappy code since I can run most modern games at 45-75fps at similar settings...

Recommended number, size, and thickness for watercooling loop setup

So i was wondering about the recommended radiator size, thickness, and number of radiators for a set up that would cool a motherboard, ram, and a 4-way SLI/Crossfire setup. Also if its not too much trouble, recommend best reservoirs, pumps, fans and/or best reservoir/pump combo, and would like multiple peoples opinions for anyone who doesn't mind going through the trouble.

Lots of Stuff to Get Off My Chest

Well, simply put, the new year is off to a rather unhappy start. As some of you (or all of you) might know, the great Flight1sim, commonly known as Flighty, has just left the forum. It started off with this message in a PM after he removed his avatar: After that, his entire profile went barebones, and now it looks like the profile of a giveaway account that spammed up LTT. His sudden and unprecedented departure, put simply, has shocked me. Just a few hours before he was all jolly because I

A night on the town.

So tonight I decided to start overclocking my G1 970s, previously I couldn't get my bottom card to go above 1500 mhz, but I've turned the fans all to 100% and forced constant voltage, and that seemed to help with stability. I'll be posting a few pictures + settings from what I did, and showing the progress as I go. Some startoff pics: MORE TO COME SOON!

What Inspires Me

Hey there my real name is Thomas, I put my real name because I have to prove to my teacher that I did not copy and paste this from the internet. Now to business, as the title entails this is about what inspires me. I can honestly say that the Linus Sebastian inspires me. I distinctively remember when a friend of mine told me the wonders of PC master race, hearing the wonderful deeds of Lord Gaben I decided to do some research on Pc's. I went on YouTube to search up how to build a pc and the vide

And alas, the pictures :D The little bugger we were all waiting for You can see the screws missing on the bottom side, as well as no midp
