i7

I personally don't enjoy 9-string guitars, but that doesn't change the fact that they look awesome as hell!

i would say that 8350 is best opinion, if you are gaming and doing light editing.

I agree with the exploding walrus.

Really depends. You say you do some editing, how much of it do you do? If you do it on a regular basis and use software such as Adobe Premiere/After Effects or Sony Vegas, the i7 is the way to go. If you only do editing every now and then, you'll be just fine with the i5. Its not like you can't edit with an i5, I used to do editing with a Q6600 and 3 GB of RAM, worked fine, just rendering took ages. An i5 will perform very well, just the i7 is even faster when it comes to multithreading. For gaming, an i5 and 8 GB of RAM are more than enough. If you really need superior editing performance, spend some more and get an i7 and at least 16 Gigs of RAM.

An i5 will serve you fine with light editing. If you can get the i7 without consequence go for it but you will not suffer with an i5.
