Will this CPU fit this Motherboard

Hi, I'm going to build a new pc and I would like to find out if this old CPU I have from my old kit would fit this new motherboard ?

 

CPU: Intel Q8300

 

Motherboard: Asus Z97-K

Nope.

You cpu is an LGA775, very old and very obsolete. Hit eBay.
