Clueless Projects: "WORST CAGE SCENARIO"

cluelessgenius

Awesome, I wish you the best of luck! I'm excited for this build

well thanks but i gotta be a little bit of a dick here for a second. i just have this question. doesnt it always sound dishonest when someone says i wish you the best of luck? to me it kinda does because that means i would need a lot of luck to do this or that. as if i couldnt do it without a huge amount of luck.

again i dont want to be a dick about it a little luck cant hurt but i was just wondering if someone else but me thinks this way.

"You know it'll clock down as soon as it hits 40°C, right?" - "Yeah ... but it doesnt hit 40°C ... ever  😄"

guy im curious im seeing a lot of builds with sponsors. im not desperate for a sponsor but interesting non the less. maybe as i progress and show dedication something will come up or should i contact somebody directly?

You have to contact a company to get sponsored. You send them an email, give them a layout of your plan, and ask them if they'd like to sponsor your build with their products. If they find your plan interesting they'll do what they can to help out. I've never done it myself, but I believe that is how it works from what I've read of those who have done it.

You're plan is pretty dang interesting so I say it's worth a shot.

don't just email the company, it is always best to find representatives like @EK_Derick

its their job to do this stuff, trust me. when me a a friend were looking for sponsors for a lan, I got a 80-90% response rate by messaging reps, my friend got only 10-20% response rate by emailing companies.

I'd go with what he says, because as I mentioned I've never done it myself.
