CONFUSION WITH MY GAMING RIG...

Hello friends,

I have built a custom rig for gaming recently like 7 months back.

I need help deciding which graphics card i can buy the best within 30,000 INR or 460 $.

My rig specs are :

  • ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO
  • INTEL CORE i7 4790K
  • GSKILL RIPJAWS 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ
  • WD RED 1TB HDD
  • CORSAIR VS 550

I can play even watch dogs in lowest settings and windowed mode at 800x600 resolution without any shuttering.

now i need to buy graphics card.

i'm impressed with ASUS STRIX NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 OC.

should i buy that or any other better graphics card at that range  for gaming ???

please help guys..

To be honest, a 970 would do awesome, but not the strix version.  Try the gigabyte G1 edition instead.

980 and 390x are double the price compared to 970.

R9 390 or 970 then.

r9 390

If you can get a cheap 390x or 980(used or discounted) that would be even better

A fury (non-x) if you can manage to find one would be best !

Also You shouldn't have gone with the i7(Many people who don't know much about pc's think i7 is more important than a better gpu)

so i can max spend 30k.
