Is your house older?

1.Get better host. Some hosts are better in certain areas than others

2.Pay for a better plan because internet company likes to throttle if you don't pay as much

3.If using wireless get closer to the wireless box

4.If you are using wireless I'd more suggest plugging in a Ethernet cable

Well if you are in Nashville no wonder, US houses aren't exactly the best electrically.

i dont understand

It was more or less a joke. 2008 is still considered new in terms of homes. My house that is nearly 10 years old now is still considered new. Basically, he's saying that only if you consider a house built in 2008 to be old, it is. Otherwise, it isn't.

Well Linus did a video a while back about the meta geek wispy dbx

And he explains in it a 2.4ghz router can have issues because toys and other things attempt to hop on to the frequency possibly causing lag, this could be the problem

My article on subscription based services and why they are the way forward http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/382625-what-the-future-holds/

I concur, considering houses are (supposed to be) built to last decades upon decades. When we tore down and rebuilt our new house, the old one was about 120 years old. The new one will be 10 in June 2016. Quite literally 1/12th of the age of the old one.
